Yeah I do believe it was a huge mistake on the part of NBC to cancel this show. Too much lag between airings was a major problem. And there were several other factors that caused ratings to drop. It wasn't the show that was the problem it was airing times and the length of time before the next season was just too long. Maybe the Sci-fi channel should pick up were NBC left off. HAHA!!!
NBC should not have cancelled heroes as the drop in ratings is their fault. They kept airing it at stupid times and it had to put up with going against other shows. Heroes was one of the best and original shows on television and NBC have really made a stupid decision. Though they only care about money so the fans don't really have a say.

I loved the show Heroes, but I think what ruined it was the writers strike, and this cause lost of interest, etc. Having said this, I can't believe that they just did not end this show with a sense of closure for its audience. I hope they will make a movie, just to end it appropriately.

I would be grateful enough if they gave it 5 episodes to wrap it up.
23 would be good. It could total up to 100 episodes for the series! :D

Heroes is one of the most watched show's on the internet and has high DVD sales. That's got to count for something. It would of just made more sense for NBC to revamp the show or go with the direction Tim was going with at the end of season 4. I would of loved to see them go year into the future after Claire revealed her power. Tim talks about how Claire would be a reluctant spokesperson for the abnormals, some will be in hiding and some will be doing great. They might even bring future Hiro and Peter into the show. That's sounds a lot better then The Cape. Which is another typical super hero show. I don't really need another show were they dress up in costumes, fight an evil rich guy and have an evil gang of villians that terrorize the city. They think this is going to bring in 17 million viewers like Heroes did in season 1! Please, keep dreaming NBC.

Although I agree its business M. L House, they couldve atleast done some serious restructuring with the show instead of just ultimately killing it off. A bit premature on NBCs part espacially with the size of the fanbase out there. I really Cant say anything now though.
@Aries93: The show was the lowest rated drama on network TV each of the last two season and was losing a lot of money for NBC. How does its cancellation makes the network selfish? This is a business.

I frickin loved Heroes. This is BS. They could have at least signed it back on for a 5th season. Just to conclude it. NBC has lost me as a viewer of their TV Shows, among other things. Selfish bastards.
