Really my expectation of seeing Meredith on screen telling Derek about the baby and miscarriage are really low and I don't think it will happen on the season premiere. How things work on Grey I truely expect Meredith to tell Derek off screen and we hear about it later.
I also think that in the season finale when she threw the pregnancy test in the garbage, it really hadn't registered in her mind that she lost the baby. I think Mer will fall apart once she tells Derek.

Yay! Cant wait for the season premiere!!!! It doesnt have to be 2 hours long but it needs to have the drama that the season finale had.... I think that mer will have told der and instead of her being cut up about it, he will. He's almost near death experience will probably nudge him into getting mer to try again so she is not alone... I also hope he starts building the house and maybe she can give birth in the house at the end of the season... that would be cool....
Xtina and Owen:
They love each other, the look between them said it all... teddy never was an issue... owen was just temporarily confused... Maybe we'll see christina and owen walk down an aisle... albeit one less extravagant than the last... (city hall)
Lexie and mark:
Shonda has hinted that all is not lost with these two.. I hope so, they are in love... Lexie needs to realise that alex will always be hung over on izzie.... they need to bring her back!!!! somehow katherine and shonda must get over themselves and

I'm a bit bummed it won't be two hours long, but so long as it's coming back I'll be happy!
* How will Meredith and Derek respond to her miscarriage?
If it's handled well, it could really be a defining moment for Derek. We've seen Derek emotional and Patrick Dempsey plays it so well, I'd love to see Derek really let down his guard and grieve.
* Where do/will things stand between Cristina and Owen?
The man almost literally ran into a war zone for her. It might take some time, but we should see them back.
* Do Lexie and Mark have a chance at a second chance?
Again, it might take some time, but I think they'll get back together. Lexie will be especially hesitant, as she'll feel that she has a duty to stay by Alex and have to sort out those feelings.
* Is Arizona really serious about having babies now?
It's hard to believe anything one says after coming off such a traumatic event. I really hope she is, because it's clear Arizona and Callie can't live without each o

I don't think it was serious. Since Shonda it's the begining of the MerDer's baby storyline in S7 I doubt she will have 2 babies at the same time like how we couldn't have 2 weddings. Besides Callie and Arizona haven't been together for too long.
How will Jackson and April fit in as regular characters?
Jackson already fit in with Mer and Cris. April I want her to disapper in the parking lot like Hahn or go back to her family's farm!

I do believe that some immediate aftermath has to be shown. Perhaps the first five minutes or so. It was a too heavy finale to just pick up two weeks later or so.
Not really shocked by the one-hour premiere. But OK.
How will Meredith and Derek respond to her miscarriage?
Well, I want to see that. I think both will mourn it for a short time but given Mer's response to her former pregnancy, I guess it won't last long but I do expect a hard time to get this baby. I hope that she gets pregnant in late S7.
Where do/will things stand between Cristina and Owen?
Don't know. Don't care. I like Cris but I don't want to know more about Owen.

Hope not. They were awful together.

I think she is considering it but not seriously thinking about it. Since the baby SL will be handed to MerDer now, I don't expect much discussion about it.

- I think that they will be sad for a while but then try again later. Don't think it will affect them that much, even if Meredith had started to picture this baby and how she'll raise it I think that it would've been worse if she would've told Derek and they had started buying stuff to it. Hopefully Meredith will "get over it" after a while.

- I don't think Christina can trust Owen again, even if he did choose Christina over Teddy during the shooting, it doesn't prove that he actually choosed Christina over Teddy, cuz sure he Loves Christina but if it had been the oter way around that it was Teddy left in the building, I think he would've gone in. Cuz he Loves them both. I think Christina will at first go back to him but later split up with him for real.

I don't thin Meredith will tell Derek about the miscarriage right away. I think she will wait until he a lot better to tell him.
I hope season 7 doesn't start right after the shooting, I hope it start couple of weeks later. We already so the immediate aftermath of the shooting, Meredith miscarrying, Alex at another hospital, Richard taking over the hospital, Callie and Arizona getting back together, Owen choosing Cristina. So IMO we don't need to see the immediate aftermath of the shooting.

I don't think Meredith will tell Derek about the miscarriage right away. I think her logic will be he never knew about the baby, so why should he have to mourn the lost of it?

I think it will be strained. I don't think Teddy is out of the picute just yet.

Well at least we know what to count down for :D. I don't mind GA being a one hr season premiere because S6 finale wasn't a cliffhanger. I think the aftermath of the shooting will not be in one episode (or two for that matter) I think it will take a good amount of the season for everyone to deal with the shooting (this is also including Mer's miscarriage I don't know what to expect from her) so counting down the days till Sept 23

WOAH! An update! Haha. Aside from that though. Wouldn't the hospital suffer more of a traumatic event. Last year they only lost 1 doctor who they knew for 2 years. Everybody who worked there lost friends, colleagues, etc. It's much more of a deal then getting hit by a bus. Not to mention. People will suffer through traumatic experiences. So if they think they can skip it after 1 episode they're sadly mistaken as it would be a serious tacky storyline. Does anyone else agree?
Aside from that, I am glad. That is returning.
