Yeah addison was great at the beginning.....people say that now, but then EVERYONE especially mer/der fans HATED her!

Addison was great from the beginning. She walked into the hospital all beautiful and stuff. And ask Mer if she was screwing her husband. Good Stuff:) And I loved AZ from the beginning too. (By the way I named Arizona AZ and now everyone is calling her that:) Whats not to love about AZ? She skates in on her wheelies and stole everyones heart. I didn't like Callie in the beginning. But once she quit being weak and let Izzy take advantage of her. I started to love her. Then when she kissed Erica I was like OK. This is going to be good. LOL!!! She is going to bat for our team. From that point on. I started to love her. Then come the whole messed up relationship with Erica. That thanks to the (GTBL- Or whatever they call themself's) Any way end up screwing up that whole story line and got Brooke Smith fired. Poor Erica come out of the closet and got lost in the parking lot. I don't know who is writing the story line for Callie and AZ but so far they are doing a good job. I hope they keep it

April is a cliche character. Her character is not even original, it lacks substance. April is so much like Lexie, that you can totally see it every time April speak. Some of her gestures are so like Lexie's gestures.
If Shonda wanted this show to last longer than 8 seasons she should've created better new characters. Characters that can easily rival the originals. But none of the new additions can rival the stories of the originals. I'm so not interested in hearing about April's background, I bet is a commonly found background.

Yeah with characters like April the show will continue after the main characters leave LOL. They had to pair her with Meredith for people to try to like her.

I love april!!! There is nothing wrong with her, and they need to explore other characters if we want the show to stay on the air for a while. I'm not JUST a mer/der fan, I want the show to stay on the air, even after Ellen Pompeo leaves....
anyways someone on here said CTV already had a sneak for season 7....how do we see that? i have searched and searched and not found anything!

I knew this was the reason why April was moving into Meredith's house to get the audience to like it. Is so manipulative, and force.
I sort of understand Jackson moving in. After all it was what he did in the OR that save everybody, from Meredith to Cristina to Derek, out of gratefulness I would I ask him to move in too, there is room for one more person in the house. But April WTF did she do that merits moving in with Meredith other than holding hands with Meredith in the scrub room, and screaming like an idiot.

HAHAHAHAHAHA...these people have to make Mer befriend April for us to like her? That's the saddest, most pathetic thing I've read today. Not gonna like her even if she find the cure for cancer.
As for the regulars, I'm not buying that one. I bet they'll make JT a regular and then go "No, I swear, this is the last one" and then find another doctor and so on.

i'm glad they are finally closing the bloated cast additions, but Shonda should have done it before KR came on board. KR & all the recently added have been jammed down our throats & I can't stand any of them, except Jesse. Although, now she's even overdosing on him too.
Poor Ellen, even she realizes it. So now we'll get to see more Mer, but only in terms of forcing us to watch that pathetic Kepner. Oh well it is Shondaland after all!

I hate that they are using Meredith and her fans for the people to ‘like’ April. They are playing dirty and they are not bother to hide it. Why she’s a regular on GA than when they know everybody clearly don’t like her? And they are going to pair her with the lead of Grey’s to try and make people warm up to her. :/ Hate that they are using my favourite character to promote their new toy, I will be pissed if they waste Mer's screen time on an annoying, stupid character like she is April!

I really dislike April as of now, but I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt. I remember I used to HATE Callie when she first came up, and now I adore her so who knows. I doubt she can ever fill Izzie's shoes though.
Jackson is really good element to fill in for George, plus not too bad on the eyes which is always a plus.

What a load!! I cannot speak for anyone else but me, but I liked Addison from day one. It didn't take manipulation and contrived housing arrangements to get me there.
I hope it goes better than I imagine, but I can't stand April and I think the cast is WAY too large as it is.
Jackson is ok, but not ok enough for me personally to take what little screen time that say Callie/Az get, for example. BTW, they normally only get a whopping 6 minutes...if that!!
I'm still looking forward to this next season, but I do hope Shonda and Co. heave April overboard in the end. Oh, and pair down the cast already!!

I think that's it's great they have finally filled all the postions left by addie, George and Izzie, the new additions will add good drama and make season seven a great one!!! I'd hoped they get a obgyn attending to replace addie. Hope these new ppl can up the ratings and make sure that greys does an Emmy sweep come next year!!!!
