As if we couldn't get any more excited for season two of The Good Wife...

CBS has announced that Michael J. Fox will guest star on this Emmy-nominated drama.

The actor, best known for his long-time role on Family Ties and forced to step down from Spin City in 2001 due to a Parkinson's Disease diagnosis, has become a spokesperson for that illness. He's penned multiple best-selling books and appeared on Scrubs, Boston Legal, and Rescue Me.

On The Good Wife, Fox will portray a lawyer named Simon Canning. The character goes up against Alicia in court and actually uses symptoms of his neurological disorder to garner sympathy from the judge and jury.

This show returns with new episodes on September 28.
