Blake Lively defeated her real-life boyfriend Penn Badgley in a box office battle of new films featuring the Gossip Girl cast this weekend - but both of their projects did well!

Both stars had supporting roles in the weekend’s two biggest films, with Blake starring in The Town and Penn in Easy A. The Town ruled all with $23.6 million in sales.
