Zdenda,
I completely agree with you. I pretty much have hero worship for Shonda (and Chandra -- have you all seen the special clips on the Season 6 DVD? I would love to see her on stage!) For the life of me, I do not understand why so many people seem to despise April, Teddy, Owen or Lexie. Is there no compassion for April's corn-farming-teacher-sisters-family girl? So what if she was a "gentle stalker" of Derreck's? I thought that was super interesting. And Owen? I love him. He battled the PTSD, is super care-taking of Christina. (I thought it was really cute when she said he washed her hair gave her the oat bar and lines up surgery and said "I'm a bride and I'm goin' with it" LOL. Anyway, I like a wild red-haired man with a lot of passion.
Teddy. She love (loves? loved?) Owen but was good to Christina anyway and taught her. (I loved her in Third Watch). Yay that she has a hot boyfriend now.
And the animosity toward Lexie is beyond me. She's beautiful but doesn'

I'm thinking we're not done with the miscarriage. You have to remember that Derek probably hasn't really been hit by the reality of that statement yet, I think we'll see more of that in the next couple of episodes, after he's had time to process.

@Helen I totally agree with you that the MerDer scene was way to short. I can't believe that they would build that scene up so much and give us so little.
I thought it would be nice if after Mer told Der that later she would see him go into the closet and follow him and see him crying. Just like he did for her in season 2. I think that would be awesome.
Also, way to much Teddy with the new Doc. I don't know his name either.
The scenes with Cris were good and Bailey and Alex were good too.

It annoys me a LOT that Teddy and whats-his-face's pointless scene was longer then MerDer's IT scene. Wth.
I like Teddy, but I wouldn't bawl my eyes out if she left or anything. And honestly, I can't even remember this shrink's name. So... why in the world do they get more screentime?!?!
Anyway, besides that I thought the episode was really good. I just have a big bone to pick with that, LOL

I 'm shoking to see this episode.I love only the last ten minuts less Teddy-Perkins.This episode has been related bad because that have written there's at the end and no for full episode.I see it only for Cri-Mer ,Mer-Derek and as usually shonda does the scene was short everytime, the last season was on the miscarriage and Shonda shores in the bath a scene that could be great.Teddy was so muchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! In the last season Teddy has trashed more than an episode and Shonda continues with this way.April AND tEDDY take SO MUCH minuts that can be used by other characters.Bailey 2 minuts ,the chief 1 minuts,aLEX only the great scene with Mer!!!!!!!!!
I'll continue to see this show only for the characters that have done great GA.Mer-Cri-Alex-Bailey-Derek...

I agree, the IT scene was very rushed, I wanted more! However, I LOVED Owen's "I'm not going anywhere" speech at the end. With more of those let's hope for the return of classic grey's!

Ellen Pompeo and Sandra Oh are just amazing and brilliant!!!
Love that my Meredith Grey is front and center again. :D
I enjoyed all the Mer/Cris moments. Awesome friendship. Poor Cristina.
Also love Mark/Callie. Teddy and Arizona are a forced friendship.
Poor Mark. I feel so sorry for him. Oh, how I wish the Mark/Callie pairing.
I don't like April and Teddy at all. They need to go.
MerDer are so cute. But the IT scene that we've been waiting for was too short and rushed.

This was a very intense episode, loved it. Hope Mark and Lexie can figure out their relationship, still hope for some futute among them. I think Shonda cares what fans like or dont, but fans on this forum are not all the fans, or even a majority. I for one like Teddy very much and am ready to give April a chance...

This was better and had some really good moments. The scene with Derek and Meredith was too rushed and not written very well which was a scene that should have been more than two minutes. And it's not Patrick and Ellen's fault. If they would get rid of at least two or three characters, the scenes would be more meaningful with the great characters that have been around from the beginning. There were some great scenes here and there so I say it's getting better, just not there. The reason this show survives is because the fans want it to be the way they know it can be and so each week we tune in. There must be some politics in this with the way some characters get longer scenes than others and seem to be the favorites. It is just frustrating from a fan's perspective. I wonder if Shonda reads this. That's right. She doesn't care what the fans think.

I agree better but not great. I thought the MerDer scene was very underplayed...I am dissapointed that the miscarriage was only about a minute long. Very dissapointed. Chris and mer scenes were amazing though....Just sad that the miscarriage was such a big deal but when they acted it out it didnt even last very long. I was looking foward to at LEAST a COUPLE minutes of emotion :/
I love LOVE scenes on Mer and Cris! They are awesome!!!
I'm hoping that there as many scenes on these 2 soulmates as it is in this episode!!!

Worried about Christina. I have a feeling this is only the beginning of her problems. I think they're going to drag out her PTSD and marriage struggles with Owen all season. She probably won't be operating again for a few episodes at least.
Loved the preview for next week. "She saved my life. I owe her EVERYTHING" truer words were never said! Go Derek for stepping up!!

Better but still not great.
April and Teddy should just die now. They serve absolute no purpose on the show other than annoy me.
I hate Owen. There, I said it.
LOVED Sandra and Ellen tonight. Damn it, these women can act.
As much as I love my Derek/Mark bromance, he needs to go to LA now. He can do so much better than Lexie.
M/D were cute tonight but the miscarriage scene was just so rushed and unemotional. I felt robbed.
I am so worried for Cristina. Next week seems to be great for her and Derek. Yay!

Great episode. Way better than the premiere. I'm worried about Cristina. Really worried. I really hope she can get out of the dark place. My two favorite scenes were Owen's speech to Cristina at Meredith's and how Mer said she already fixed her lol. And then Mer and Derek's scene when she told him about the baby. Soo good. Such powerful scenes. Callie and AZ, friggin amazing as usual. Mark and Lexie. I just want them to be together sooo bad. Never seen Mark this way about anyone, not even Addison.

This episode was AMAZING!!!! Loved every minute from beginning to end!!! Love Loved LOVED the end when Mer told Owen, "I fixed her before you got here but that was a good speeech" or something like that...lol that was hilarious!! Lexie wants so badly to be okay, but shes just not...shes not read to be in a committed relationship again, and thats ok, her and mark just need time they're meant for each other though.
AND OH MY GOOOOOSSSH!!!! To next week!! Holy F to Derek saying if she goes I go....wow!!!! I'm so excited, shondas really upping the anty to every week!!!!

I loved this eposide. Cristina/Meredith scenes were flawless. That Sandra Oh is crazy talented. Bailey/Alex were awesome as well. So glad Bailey talked Alex into removing the bullet. Now he can start to heal.
Mer/Der...Though short, amazing. Ellen Pompeo really hit it out of the ballpark.
Lexie/Mark...Agh! I screamed at the end. Mark's practice speech was just perfect. Then when he goes to talk to her she assumes he is going to talk to her about her breakdown. I still think they will get back together. They just need time.
Next weeks episode looks awesome. Can't wait!

AMAZING. AMAZING. AMAZING. loved it from start to finish. the friendship, love, emotion, comedy, everything was at its very best tonight. although i'd like to see a little more arizona and callie, the show is managing to juggle all 14 of its regulars very well, with emphasis on all the right characters. might have even been better than the premiere. it was like 100% classic grey's in a modern grey's setting. and OMG NEXT WEEKS LOOKS AMAZING! can't wait for the derek-yang scenes. the best thing about this show is that all types of characters interact and that what happens actually is fleshed out and given consequences and makes sense.
