not sure if anyone already said this, but the song playing at the end of the episode was delta spirit salt in the wound.

I love this show but this season premiere was really bad. I hope the show gets better next Thursday.

does anyone remember what narrative that meredith does at the end was??

The Song that the Chief was breakin it dow to was "Midnight Hour" by: REFLECTION ETERNAL......awesome dancing, made me do it a little to.

please, no one? the song playing at the end of the season 7 premiere? couldn't hear all the words because meredith was doing her narrative thing. HELP! want to know name of that group and what that song was called?? why do they not post all the songs for all episodes somewhere?

I agree, it could have been better...they could have actually showed some scenes such as Lexie in Psych, how Derek and Alex managed to get back to being up and about in such a short time...I also didn't like how April was the first person Derek saw when he woke up.... The whole episode seems too rushed for me. But still, I enjoyed it! Fantastic acting by Chyler Leigh, btw...

I thought this episode was just average. I did love all the flashbacks...but i guess i was just expecting more of a BAM!! Not a ....ermm bam bam. You know what i'm trying to say? Mer was the best actor here like always, but lexie is making me like her more and more. Her breakdown scene in the flashback was chilling, i seriously had my mouth open the whole time--amazing job on her part. I love Avery, but april and teddy have to go. pleaseee, i hate them sooo much! they just don't belong in the cast, i just don't believe their characters. Also, cris and owen's marriage, i absolutley hated it. i hope it ends and they decide they werent ready because seriously, cristina looking at a bridal magazine instead of looking at an amazing surgery is crazy to me. Bring back the old cristina! :( The scene were Der said "lets make a baby" i thought was the saddest part, and your mind starts spining because you get that sentence then you see mer's face, then you notice der's scar on his chest! amazing. anyways i would give the episode an 8 out of 10 just because it seemed rushed, like they were trying to fit everything in so quickly before time ran out--should have been 2hours! But hey, what do i know?

haha i loved the season premiere. let me start off with how amazing chyler leigh perfomance as lexie at this episode. i was amazed and shocked. finally lexie grew up. and i enjoyed very much what she said to alex. and yeah yeah people think that what she said was mean but Alex always treated her like shit. after she helped him and was there for him.
calzonaaa they are too cute and jcap looks extremlt glowy and pretty .. meredith was a total badass for leaving derek in jail lmao and cristina i don't llike her like this at all. its like a part of her and (lex) has left them. they are empty btw i find april extremly entertaining she 's always there doing nothing lmao .

Mer: you look beutifull
Cris: I know... Priceless!! I loved the episod. Maybe not so "classic greys", but I really loved it. I think they got where everybody is starting at... maybe we´ll see some more developed storylines from now on... In the next episodes we´ll have Mer telling Der about the miscarriage, Cris falling apart in the OR, and maybe dealing with her rushed wedding decisions (which I loved, btw), Alex afraid of getting in the elevator... I mean, we´ll get to see all of them moving on from the shooting. This is just the starting line^^

This is so random to the conversation, but does ANYONE know the song playing when Derek was speeding the first time in the episode. It was great, but the "abc music lounge" is absolutely awful and chaotic to navigate through and I can't find any info on it anywhere. As for the episode, I thought it was okay. I think after such a dramatic finale, it's hard to create a solid episode to follow up/ start a new season, HOWEVER I liked the ending and Meredith's dialogue about change. I thought it was very honest and just good. Oh, and drunk Callie? And Mark's 'encouragement'? Too funny for words, I died.

Grey's Anatomy Quotes

There's a reason I said I'd be happy alone. It wasn't 'cause I thought I'd be happy alone. It was because I thought if I loved someone and then it fell apart, I might not make it. It's easier to be alone, because what if you learn that you need love and you don't have it? What if you like it and lean on it? What if you shape your life around it and then it falls apart? Can you even survive that kind of pain? Losing love is like organ damage. It's like dying. The only difference is death ends. This? It could go on forever.

Did you say it? 'I love you. I don't ever want to live without you. You changed my life.' Did you say it? Make a plan. Set a goal. Work toward it, but every now and then, look around; Drink it in 'cause this is it. It might all be gone tomorrow."
