New Grey's Anatomy Clip: "Shock to the System"
We saw part of this scene in one of the six sneak previews of Thursday's Grey's Anatomy that we posted yesterday, but ABC has just released a newer, extended version.
Alex asks Meredith if Lexie is okay, then laments his lot in life. Every time he gets close to a chick, she goes crazy. So he thinks. Meredith attempts to talk sense into him.
They may have a much bigger problem on their hands, though, with Cristina ...

I love Alex,i am just sad that he is always pushed to the back pls pls pls bring izzie back (need not be KH) some one else but i am talking izzie's character. Alex was at his best in season 5 when he was caring etc also season 6 saw Alex grow as a great doctor

It's easy for Meredith to start a friendship with someone other than her sister. I don't like April at all to be clear!! It's always gonna be a little wierd between Meredith and Lexie. Lexie is a reminder of what Meredith didn't have when she was a child.

I think Lexie has every reason to be upset with Alex. I thought it was awesome how she stood up for herself this last week...

@cconklin I agree with you. I feel like Lexie was there for Alex, and literally risked her life to save him, and he basically walks away when she freaks out and needs her the most. Was it right for him to do, no....do I understand why he did it yeah I do. But he was a smart ass to Lexie, and she didnt desrerve any of his comments. I think it's about time that Lexie started standing up for herself, and also I think that if she DIDNT say something to Alex he would think it was okay to just keep being a jerk, thats his way of dealing with things. I think this season we are really going to see Alex growing up

I don't know- if I were Lexi- and you left me. When I needed you the most, and you were making fun of me, to my face and around others. I might just say the same thing she did. Alex has a great heart, I've never not liked him. But every once in awhile his ego needs a knock down. This was one of those times. Good for Lexi for standing up for herself. And good for Shonda for writing something so witty and funny- and too the point. Personally, it made me feel good for all the times some guy has been a jerk to me, and I haven't had an opportunity to really put him in his place.

i have to admit alex is my favourite character and always has been! he is literally the guy who
always gets close to having a happy ending and never getting one. this year i hope he gets a good storyline, he is awesome!

Alex needs a break he has had a very crappy year. First Izzie seeing Denney, then finding out that Izzie has cancer, then going through treatment with Izzie for the cancer. Izzie almost dies in Alex's arms. Then living in the trailer, then Izzie leaving him. Then his brother showing up, then getting shot, then Lexie having a breakdown.
Alex need a break from all the tragedy that his life has been lately.

give alex a girl who would make him work for her...all his prev girls came to him...would be nice to see him really trying for someone..and i think its not human for lexie to bring up the shooting and him calling for his wife...they have been on and off for a while....close the alex-izzie thing as we all know its not gonna happen...lexie has been an amazing actress...but she doesnt have to rub it in alex's face...when speaking abt characters, alex has been lot stronger that mark has ever been...his background, his commitment to medicine....someone has to put mark in his place....like pete when he said "saving the world one boob job at a time"...its true...think abt it....
