It's no Lady Gaga, but Gossip Girl fans will be treated to another high profile musical guest appearance this season in the form of Swedish pop star Robyn.

The singer Tweeted a photo from set yesterday having flown into New York City after making a brief appearance Sunday at the MTV Video Music Awards.

A sensation in Sweden and much of Europe, Robyn may be best known in the U.S. for her 1997 hit "Show Me Love." Her new album, Body Talk Pt. 2, just dropped.

The CW confirms that Robyn appears as a surprise guest at Blair's birthday party, performing her song "Hang With Me." Rachel Zoe will also be at that event!
