On relocating from Wisconsin to NYC: “Wisconsin will always have a special place in my heart because that’s where I grew up and where my whole family is. But I think home is where your heart is - and right now, my heart is in New York.”

On keeping her relationships under wraps: “With things in my personal life, if I talk about it, than it doesn’t stay personal. I’m just a normal girl who really enjoys her job, and so you have to take the other things that come with being in the public eye."

"People make assumptions, but I try to be good at what I do and work hard.”

On her upcoming indie film Art Machine: “I play an artist with kind of a messed up background and she expresses emotions in her art. It’s really cool. I’m filming all over Brooklyn.”
