The Good Wife 2011 Preview: Tough Love, Dirty Tricks
What can fans of The Good Wife expect from this CBS drama when it returns on January 11?
In four words, according to the following preview: tough love, dirty tricks.
While the newly-released promo doesn't reveal any upcoming scenes, it does take us back to a few of our favorites from the first half of the season. The one thing we do know is on the way: a special, Facebook-inspired episode.
It's also safe to assume we'll get more of Kalinda vs. Blake; Will vs. Diane; and, of course, Alicia vs. her feelings for Will...

I have been an fan of this show and I can tell you all that I have been through this same situation as Alicia both husband and old college friend. I have two children the same ages as hers and they held a family meeting with me about the suppose hanky panky they heard about from my work, I can tell you all it blew my socks off. They told me flat out that if it came to a split with their dad and I over this old friend they are going with dad and that I would not see them again. They know that their dad messed up and has been working on putting it back together again and that I haven't been putting any support behind it that I said I would. My old college friend is a player and trys hitting on anything with nice anything, he has trying to get me to stay late on several occasions but I keep turning him down but there are rumurs flying all over the office that keeps me looking for a hiding place.
To make a long story short I love my husband even after his messup but I am trying to change

Going on with the ALicia problem, she is a responsible woman with a problem who finds that she’s got the hormonal imbalance of a teenager right now. She knows that Peter is the one but still has thoughts of yester year, Will is a player who likes to play around and move on, this is not good father material. Peter has shown since the beggining that he is very sincere even though we did not see what happened before the series started. I am a forgiving person who beleives in one chance and stay with what I know, I would rather have a good future than one that could be a total desaster and ruin my whole family. My children come first and I WOULDN'T want them in the middle.

So I can't see why it has to be any man or at least one of these men, but if I have to choose I choose Will. When a friend is in a physical abusive relationship you tell her to get out. If a man once hits her you tell her that he might kill her eventually; one women every four hour dies in the hands of her (ex)husband, (ex)fiancé or (ex)boyfriend. But what if a man persistently stalls you emotionally? A man that is sexier or is the father of your children? What if you don't have the luxury to show your bruises and ask your friends for help? Isn't it worse than dying? You see I think it's not about cheating, I really don't care about the prostitutes, it is about cheating and manipulating someone to be a loyal wife, quitting the carrier she is good at because you're too busy saving the world! And that hasn't changed! It won't change. He is not taking responsibility as a father he tries to be the good cop that plays with them, covers up for them, and he is continuing to be an ALPHA MAN!

Phaedra you think politicians don't change quickly in their pathology, I have worked for lawyers for 20 yrs at several firms and by far they are the worst. I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them, the oath they took becoming a lawyer means nothing to them, they cheat on their wives so much under the pretence of working late on an importent case all along they are screwing anything they can get away with. So good old Will is no better than any other lawyer.

Alicia & Peter
Alicia and Peter, must stay together to avoid breaking and disappoint the hopes of those who believe in the family and forgiveness, Will is also the typical spoiled child, and cocky, which is a crush on Alicia because he can not have it ..
Peter is far sexier than Will ...

I really like Will and Alicia together. Personally Peter is an ass and will continue in his man-whoring ways cause it's his pathology. Men like him, politicians, don't change that quickly... Especially without any lapses. I know that. It wouldn't make sense for them to do any sudden changes to his character.
