Grey's Anatomy Photo Gallery: "Golden Hour"

On the February 17 episode of Grey's Anatomy, Meredith looks to prove she is Chief Resident material and learns anything can happen when she runs the ER for a night.

"Golden Hour" is the episode taking place in real time. It will be interesting to see if the filming style resembles the faux-documentary episode or an episode of ER.

Meanwhile, Bailey sneaks off with Eli and gets into trouble, and everyone is shocked when none other than the Chief's wife, Adele, shows up as one of the ER patients.

Check out photos from "Golden Hour," which refers to the crucial first hour after a trauma, which can often be the difference between life and death, below:

jo_1- Totally agree with everything you said!! I am looking forward for this episode. Meredith GREY running HER show, but an episode like this when she's focused should not happen once in two seasons, it's been too long since she had something on her own. Lately it's been her constantly talking and worrying about others. So more MER I say. The show works best when she's front and center.

OK, this season seemed to be about Calzona and Christina. It is time to give Merder more screen time. And what bout an Alex-centered one?

YAY! A Meredith episode. Bring it on!! About time for some focus on the lead. :)

This the only episode I'm looking forward to watch in February. I think is a scratch, but I'm hoping is a hickey given by her hubby.

Stacy McKee is writing this episode!!

My cup runneth many awesome pics of Mer: Mer/Cris; Mer/Chief/Alex; Mer all by herself!!! Thanks Shonda, now don't go & screw it up by dumping on Mer again, please!!

Can't wait for this episode!
It's been a while since Meredith was the main focouse of an episode, should be a good one!!e some of the best of the season!
Seam's like the next few episodes (musical ep included) could definatly be some of the best of the season!

Hey Feb has four episodes planned the sixteenth one too is in Feb 23rd Feb and its again centered around Derek's Alz trial There was an article too regarding some guest star to be appearing on this sixteenth epi I dunno someone from Lost i guess and apparently the person who played her husband in Lost too appeared on Grey's last yr in Feb Something like that was mentioned in the article so i guess feb has four epis and m so excited for that four weeks of Grey's back to back was really getting tiered of the un ending hiatuses
As for this scratch or rash guys don't u think Mer got this form this woman in the pictures in yellow jacket or something She has it too and I think whatever she had its contagious and Mer got it too and I feel that blind thing too might happen in this same epi but not sure abt it
Whatever it is excited like hell for this epi like freaking freaking hell Meredith Grey just freaking rocks in every role life makes her to essay and no matter how much I get of her can't ever have enough

I thought I read that there was 4 episodes in Feb, but I could be way wrong

@Kerri We don't know which episode is it. The spoiler said Mer goes blind in an upcoming episode. So it could be any epi. @jude according to spoiler tv episode 15 will be the last episode in February.

Grey's Anatomy Quotes

Did you say it? 'I love you. I don't ever want to live without you. You changed my life.' Did you say it? Make a plan. Set a goal. Work toward it, but every now and then, look around; Drink it in 'cause this is it. It might all be gone tomorrow."

Meredith (closing voiceover)

Lexie: [narrating] Grief may be a thing we all have in common, but it looks different on everyone.
Mark: It isn't just death we have to grieve. It's life. It's loss. It's change.
Alex: And when we wonder why it has to suck so much sometimes, has to hurt so bad. The thing we gotta try to remember is that it can turn on a dime.
Izzie: That's how you stay alive. When it hurts so much you can't breathe, that's how you survive.
Derek: By remembering that one day, somehow, impossibly, you won't feel this way. It won't hurt this much.
Bailey: Grief comes in its own time for everyone, in its own way.
Owen: So the best we can do, the best anyone can do, is try for honesty.
Meredith: The really crappy thing, the very worst part of grief is that you can't control it.
Arizona: The best we can do is try to let ourselves feel it when it comes.
Callie: And let it go when we can.
Meredith: The very worst part is that the minute you think you're past it, it starts all over again.
Cristina: And always, every time, it takes your breath away.
Meredith: There are five stages of grief. They look different on all of us, but there are always five.
Alex: Denial.
Derek: Anger.
Bailey: Bargaining.
Lexie: Depression.
Richard: Acceptance.
