NBC Cuts The Cape Order to 10 Episodes

While official notice has yet to be received, it would appear The Cape has met a villain he can't best: the cancellation bear.

Deadline is reporting that NBC's superhero series The Cape has had its order cut from 13 to 10 episodes in the wake of increasingly poor ratings. This week's episode sank to a series low 1.5 rating sandwiched in between Chuck and Harry's Law, which both performed higher - steep enough of a drop to prompt NBC to throw in the cape...er, towel.

The 10th episode is currently filming. Production is expected to wrap up upon completion.
