While I do think the PTC is overreacting, I can see where they are coming from on certain points. Although it isn't my personal belief, some of my friends were upset that their decision to wait was mocked by the show. I do agree that it made Emma and all the other people who haven't had sex or have chosen to wait look like dorks, while glorifying those characters wanting to make sex taps and whatnot. However, I am happy that Glee featured a serious "The Talk" because it's very rare that you see that on television. And it really is silly to say that kids don't have sex, I just didn't appreciate how it made kids who don't look somewhat stupid.

its inevitable for a teenager to not have sex, but Glee showed how protection is needed to have safe sex, its good that a tv show like glee does this because, comeon PTC would YOU want your kid having un safe sex because they didn't know any better. I believe you're overreacting, plus why pick on glee there are many tv shows and reality shows and magazines and commercials that encourage sex, ex: teen mom. but come on glee is trying to teach you to be responsible when you're having sex

I think this weeks Glee was a great depiction of how America puts it's head in the sand when it comes to Sex Ed. to preach abstinence is totaly unrealistic in this media age, especially when you have shows like "Teen Mom" daily Soap operas, and pretty much anything that is on the tube.
It's time America gets their fingers out of their ears and take their childrens health and welfare seriously and not leave it up to God.
Even Joseph must of thougt something was up when Mary got knocked up, but maybe he believed the hot tub story too.
Good job Glee and the writers for striking a nerve with Right Wing America.
excuse me for my language but PTC can kiss my ass.
i'm 15 and i love glee! PTC is so ridiculous such as PETA.
besides it's Gwyneth Paltrow! That's all that matters right?

I'm SO beyond sick of the PTC. Just...ugh. They really make me want to move to a different country - one where parents are smart enough to actually parent their children and teach them that television is not real life.

Hello PTC there are shows where students have relationships with teachers. For Christ sake. I love Pretty Little Liars but Ezra and Aria relationship would be totally inappropriate if it was the real world but hello its television. It's a work of FICTION. For ENTERTAINMENT.
The only reason the PTC picks on Glee is because there is singing in it. Just because it has music and dancing doesn't mean its a kids show. It's a Fox show on Disney.

Its a TV show like come one. I doubt 8 year olds are watching. I know of more people in highschool that had sex than didnt. If anything slam teen mom there making teen pregnancy look cool to young kids its disgusting. So lay off Glee sheesh.

Dear Mr Dan Isett: sex is cool and very nice (most of the time), and I'm really sorry for you if it's not your case!!! I wish you will find happiness in your sex life because if not, you're really missing something.
More seriously: the point about Sex ed is to talk about protection, not should you or shouldn't you. I think the PTC would benefit looking how things work in other parts of the world (let's start with Europe for example: noone is preaching abstinence where I live and at the same time, we don"t have a lot of teen pregnacies. the reason: sex ed says us to use condoms AND pills if -or to be honnest when- we have sex. Moreover, we don't mix religious values to the sex talk because it has nothing to do with it IMO

Did anyone else catch the TV rating at the beginning? Or are we ignoring that?
The more the Parent TV Council slams Glee the more joy I get in watching it.
Please keep it coming :)

This show opperates on a suspension of disbelief. This time, I just could not get past thinking, "wow, a teacher who did this would be banned from teaching forever."
Brittany: Let me break it down. No one in this musty choir room compares to my megawatt star power. Blaine, you're shorter than a lawn gnome. Joe, you look l...
