Will Lucy and Alex will hook up on Grey's Anatomy?

This question has been on the minds of many fans, and even though Rachael Taylor left to shoot the Charlie's Angels pilot, don't discount a romantic connection with Karev.

Justin Chambers tells TV Guide that given all he's been through "Alex still doesn't wear his heart on his sleeve, but I'm feeling that he's really smitten with this new girl."

"I don't think he's been smitten with anyone for a while."

What do you think about these two as a couple? If Taylor's new show gets picked up, will she be written out in some fashion, or simply disappear like Bailey's Ben?

We just hope nothing bad happens to her. It's Grey's Anatomy, after all ... and you especially never know with the self-proclaimed Seattle Grace Angel of Death.
