PLEASE DON'T STOP ALL MY CHILDREN AND ONE LIFE TO LIVE WE DON'T NEED TO GET RID OF THESE FOR SOME STUPID TALK SHOWS. IN FACE MAURY SHOULD GO OFF THE AIR ITS THE SAME ---- EVERYDAY WHOS THE DADDY. AND ALL THE REST OF THE TALK SHOWS STINK TOO. KEEP THE SOAPS OR LOOSE ALOT OF VIEWERS.

I am so upset about my two faviote soaps going off the air. When you have watched them since they been on the people almost feel like you know them. What we don't need is more talk shows or reality shows. Keep all my children and one life to live on. These actors work so hard to make the shows so interesting. Its a dam shame to end these two shows.

When I first saw a message from a friend regarding "stop ABC from cancelling AMC and OLTL" I ignored it, because I figured it was a crazy rumor. One more thing that hits email as fact and isn't. I realize that not all of us may watch these shows at the regular airing time anymore, I work, I look forward to watching the three ABC soaps in the evening on Soap Net. Isn't that what Soap Net and ABC online are for - so that we have multiple options to watch these shows. Obviously there is a desire for these shows or Soap Net would not air them in prime time! I agree with so many of my fellow posters - I will not watch a replacement talk show. I could count on one hand the amount of times that I watch The View in any given year, and usually only if I am home ill. As for reality TV, the only one that I watch, any network, is Dancing With the Stars. I have watched an episode here and there of others and all I see are people allowing themselves to be humiliated for the chance at money -

So sad that these shows are going off! I am so tired of having choices of talk shows throughout the day. We have soooo many of these shows on with all the different channels and sometimes you just like to watch for the entertainment without thinking!

There are enough realty shows -- talk shows, etc. We do not need more. Leave the soaps alone -- keep them going. I am disappointed to learn that All My Children & One Life to Live have been cancelled as of September & January. I have been watching these shows for 42 years -- finally have retired and can enjoy them without taping them. However, I tape them in case I miss an episode while I am out. I love these shows and there are still enough fan based watchers to keep them on the air! Do Not Cancel them for more realty/talk shows. Enough already! Leave our soaps alone and let those that enjoy them continue to do so!

why....I can't get a good nites sleep. I am AMC biggest fan,I've loved them for 32years..ABC you sound like you just said Big Deal,Well IT IS A BIG DEAL. I am now in the practice of boycotting abc except during amc....I will in the future continue the boycott as I have from walmarts etc....If you continue to not care I will permannetly say "Forget You".

I don't care about AMC cuz the chick who plays Kendall is like the worst acttress ever. All she does is move her lips for her emotions. It's gross, actually! Can't stand her. Buh-bye!

Ridiculous. ABC....think about all the fans (decades long), think about the actors and actresses, the writers, the prop people, the makeup artists, engineers, caterers, etc., etc., etc. They need jobs!!!! And we need an escape in the form of ALL MY CHILDREN!

I am so upset over this!!! I can't believe that they would do this to us! I have been watching since I was a child with my mother and sister! I have tried making phone calls and have not really felt like anyone has listened to me and all I hear is how the ratings were down and they had to make changes because of ratings and costs! Why not leave the soapnet channel on the air and leave them on it, they could have more sponcers, play adds all night if need be to pay for them, or make a cable channel that the fans pay for on thier cable bill like we do the movie channels and stuff ....they need to find a way to give the option to leave them on the air somehow....or even on the web and have the website a members only site that us fans would pay for...it would be worth it to me...I just know that if they do take them off totally that I will not watch anything on any of the ABC/Disney stations that also means primetime I will not watch them ...PLEASE all you soap fans out there ...join the f

Shame, shame, on a.b.c. how shameful it is to cancel one life to live!!! Have you given a thought to seniors who have watched for years and years? We were not as large a work force (women) then and still watch every day or tape the show. We do not need what you are going to offer.!!! 12;00 P.M.-2:00 P.M is our time-please don,t do it.

i have been watching the soaps on ABC since i was in kindergarden and its disgusting that they are cancelling one life to live and all my children to put on some more stupid talk shows! DISGUSTING!
This isnt right and it is not fair at all to all the fans that have watched for so many years, we will all be lost now!

I really am not sure how this works, but I think that programs are paid for by advertising(commercial breaks), and I have been guilty of watching my soaps on the internet instead of on TV. Maybe they are doing market research with the sponsoring advertisers, and find that viewers just aren't watching these two soaps on TV, and instead are watching them on the internet with no commercials (Sponsors aren't Getting the consumers/customers they expect from that Advertising on TV). I am making an effort to watch these two soaps everyday on TV. And unless I'm wrong, could everyone else do this too to save our two favorite soaps?

I hope your'e paying attention to the millions of people disappointed with ABC. Its really become a sick world watching how we replace the wonderful television shows with so much garbage. Like others, I have taped All My Children and watched it at night for about 20 yrs. now. Actually cannot wait to just relax watching the show after working all day. 400 cable stations and the only show I really couldnt wait to see. Our television channels are so filled with realty shows, violence, shit we cant let our kids watch... we've gotten away from awesome music too. Cancelling awesome soaps is so bad. Hate ABC

Pleae don't cancel All My Children and One Life to Live. I can't believe ABC has resorted to this. Nobody in their right mind would rather watch Reality TV. ABC is only trying to go the cheap route. Reality TV is cheap and low rate. Prime time has almost been ruined by Reality TV,,,now they're trying to ruin Day Time. ABC stand up and listen to what viewers really want to watch.

I was shocked to find out that these shows were being cancelled..this crazy!between this n Oprah daytime tv will never be the same. Ive never been a huge fan of amc but have fallowed OLTL n GH since i was 15 yrs old...fallowing every story line! i catch myself as an adult n single working mother excited to live vicariously threw the charaters on my shows! if i miss episodes i stay up late to catch them on Soapnet or get online just to catch up! this is a bad choice for abc!

Wow I look forward to watching that everyday then I usually switch to General Hospital...what do we do hw do we get it back???I mean fans fought for The Game on BET so let's send in letters and emails to let ABC know how we feel abt this!

My parents during the day throughout my childhood. I enjoy watching the two shows daily to this very day and am apalled and disappointed to hear that they are being cancelled. I hope and pray for abc daytime's rating's sake you will reconsider and make your fans of many years happy. Otherwise, I know your ratings will flop to new, all time lows. Thanks for your time. ive been wacthing all my children and one life to life since i young i think that its not fare to fans like me and others if the shows go of the air your rateing will go down once the shows are gone because people like myself and others love the soaps!} i_think it would be wise to just keep the shows on the air besides there are enough talk shows on the air and do you think more people are going to wacth some new talk shows?ok good luck with that! Who wants to here about the same stuff just new talk shows host!

Wonder whose bright idea this was? once one life goes off the air i will no longer watch anything on abc. i grew up with this iconic show and i still look forwar to watching it daily. i even plan my lunch break at work around my favorite soap. we really don't need another talk or reality show. what's the point? give me my favorite soap anyday.
