This is just another attempt by CBS to replace strong female characters/actresses with some fluff bunny. Linda Hunt is a dynamic part of the mix. Her character's relationships with each character is unique. CBS just spent a season learning from their insane firing of AJ Cook and Paget Brewster from Criminal Minds - now they have to ruin another show? What's up with that? How about "if it's working - don't fix it!?"

Now I hated the pilot episode. It just didn't make the grade until you brought Hetty (Linda Hunt).She is just made for that part. Don't get me wrong it is a great show. But tak Hetty out of it and it will go down hill. Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee leave her in she has great one liner.

If they replace Hetty (Linda Hunt), I for one will not continue watching this show. She is PERFECT for this part and the show would never be as good if she were not in it.

Do whatever you have to do to keep Hetty!!!!!!
She has made this show unique and we love to watch her. She has a great chemistry with the other wonderful cast members. I just love the way this small woman can scare the big ol' boys! She was made for this part. If she goes so do my husband and I. This is one of the shows that we make time for every week - even if it is a rerun.

IMHO Linda Hunt basically saved the show. Somehow she managed to help mesh all the characters together and settle the show in that distinct darker-then-NCIS vibe. She makes most of the other actors look like complete novices on both NCIS versions whenever she's on screen.

I also hated the pilot episode. I only watched the first ones because of LL Cool J and was delighted when Linda Hunt showed up. The addition of Deeks was a good idea and although I think we could do without the annoyingly cute and not-at-all credible little genius girl (can't remember her name, so that tells you something) I think they have the cast just about right. To remove Hetty would be a real mistake. There is still a lot of mileage in her unknown past and she makes such a pleasant change from all the barbie dolls we are offered... (we even have to contend with one on NCIS now which I hope doesn't last into next season). Keep Hetty!!!

Leave Hetty alone. I remember the premier episode of NCIS: Los Angeles and absolutely hated it. I only watched since there was a cast change. Without Linda Hunt, there's just another boring crime drama. Without her, I see the show lasting maybe one season longer.

Don't mess with this show! It is one of the few shows I still watch! Hetty is the best boss on TV! I love the interaction between this cast. Do not like Claire at all. And, yes, I would love to see Hetty and Gibbs. I don't like the new group on NCIS. I think the "new girl" is unprofessional.

I don't think anything needs to be changed on NCIS or NCIS Los Angeles they are the best shows on TV. I will say this I just went on vacation to Laguna Beach CA. we stayed at a beautiful resort but on Tuesday night we were watching the two best shows on TV. NCIS and NCIS Los Angeles. You don't need to fix anything the shows are perfect and all the stars mesh. THey are not so violent that you have nightmares and enough touches of humor between the characters. Please don't mess it up.

If they replace Hetty (Hunt) I will no longer be watching this show!!! They have changed characters on NCIS to many times! I love Hetty and if she leaves the show will never be the same! Im sure ratings will go down, not everyone wants to see a pretty face, its all about who fits better in the role. Nothing against Claire Forlani, I just love Hetty, shes one of a kind and without her the team just wouldnt be the same!!!

Hetty is one of the reasons I watch this show. She cannot be replaced! The only way she can leave this show is if she goes to NCIS!

The core group of this show work amazingly well together. I adore Hetty. One of the reason I have always thought this show worked is because they have an older experienced role like Hetty.
Removing her for a pretty face is so not cool. That would be like replacing Gibbs because he has Grey hair. Never!!!!

Claire Forlani is part of an ensemble cast of another show, so I doubt she will be a permanent addition to NCIS LA. The NCIS writers are well known for their WTF? type cliffhangers, so I have a feeling this will be one of them. Hopefully my beloved Hetty will be safe and sound next season, right where she should be (hopefully Linda Hunt isn't asking to leave the show, because then it's a moot point). I'm not going to get up in arms about it, I doubt Hetty is being replaced for good. Just an end of seasn shake up, to keep us guessing over the summer...

Hetty is a jewel; I think she's too good for California. If Leon really wants to retire as director, why not have Hetty in there? Hetty vs. Gibbs -- I want to see that at least once.

NO thank you.....i couldn't stand her on CSI:NY as Dr.Peyton Driscoll....and i just LOVE the connection that hetty has with callan and the rest of the team......why are they messing with something that ISN'T broken? alisa
