Mary McCormack: Pregnant on In Plain Sight and In Real Life!
Mary McCormack is pregnant with her third child, all with producer husband Michael Norris. This is significant not just because it's wonderful for her but a USA Network rep says it will be written into the upcoming fourth season of In Plain Sight!
“Over the course of Season Four, we will see how Mary’s pregnancy will affect her job, her complex relationships with her partner, her sister and ultimately, with the father of her child - which is the big reveal,” the network teased in a press release.
“Stay tuned for the twists and turns leading up to the big secret in Mary’s life.”
Could it be FBI Agent Farber (Steven Weber)? Someone else? We'll find out soon enough when Season Four of In Plain Sight kicks off Sunday, May 1.

You have some nerve talking about disabled children! Go f yourself, really I have a disabled child and if you say the word retarded around me I will cut your tongue out. You need to get a life no one would ever want you around their child disabled or not. You are a waste of breathing space. I work with these children and they are the most loving people in the world God help you if you ever have a child with a disability that would be a cruel injustice to the child.

Erin, Seriously please stop breeding!
I do not want to foot the bill for your "special" child/children. What can they do aside from soak up public funding? They can't work really A greeter at wallyworld does not a career make sorry but the turth hurts.
Countless tests are out there to test for these disorders before they come to furition and I for one am ashamed of the human populace for allowing ourselfs to continue bringing humans into this world who can never fully partake of it.
So the word Retarted bothers you, Retarted as defined means:
Retardation is the act or result of delaying; the extent to which anything is retarded or delayed; that which retards or delays.
as for the other posters who "cringe" at the use of GD etc etc hun do yourself a favor and get over yourself, I am sure your 17 yr old girl has already done, seen, and said a lot worse.
you walk around with blinders on and call yourself a mother, pity, a mother talks openly and freely with their child about w

I am a loyal fan and I love the way they have incorporated Mary's real-life pregnancy. It brings out a lot more to Mary. She is made to be a real go better and nothing will drop her from getting the job done. I believe the pregnancy will strengthen her character and hold her back. She can still be a woman with a badge and mother both whom have nothing to do with the other. She knows how to prioritize and will not clash what setting she is playing. Good luck Mary with the multi-tasking. You go girl.

You Know what I am sick of people being "offended" at every turn
1. Retarded - It is not a word aimed at the special needs community - It is a vanacular..used for ragging your friends
2. Gay is a word that has existed in the english language as long as there have been recorded written words [and who knows - maybe before that]..it does not belong to the homosexual community..so I and others have the right to continue to "have a gay ol time".
3. TV shows are NOT REAL..so get a life!!!!
If you are "offended"..don't watch the show..my TV has a lot of different channels..how about you???..watch animal planet or christian TV instead.

Two points - it's just a TV show. Second and more important - birth control is terrific and very important but it is not 100% reliable. Even when used correctly. I have a child that proves it.

Her being pregnant will ruin the entire show ! Mary's role is not the motherly, loving or caring type. I have already lost interest in the show. She no longer looks hot in a pair of blue jeans and the character who plays her sister Brandy, has the same dysfunctional problems but a new tight face and cat eyes. The entire show is a total mess. Hopefully when they return next season, there will be a new Brandy without the plastic surgery and a back to normal Mary.

Wow- I was just researching a complaint by a library patron who found the use of the word "retarded" in a 1993 novel objectionable. I was prepared to tell her the author was using it as part of a historical setting to illustrate thinking of that time- now I am not so sure. I don't know what context it was used in for the show- I hope it was not used to describe someone.
