Carpe Diem on the 90210 Season Finale
Ivy Sullian is getting married.
Is this a rushed decision by the 90210 character? Absolutely, acknowledges star Gillian Zinser, but she says the ceremony - which takes place on the May 16 season finale - "is Ivy’s way of dedicating to herself to this love, even though she knows she’s going to lose it... the wedding itself becomes a symbolic celebration of the life Raj and Ivy live, as they live it.”
Zinser also tells TV Line that all students will get their "Carpe Diem moment." Meaning what, exactly?
“There are a bunch of different vignettes - Max and Naomi; Liam and Annie; and obviously Raj and I - circling around this idea of living in the moment and appreciating everything you have.”
Look for the hour to conclude on a "beautiful note," teases Zinser, giving us an idea of the final scene:
"The episode ends with the gang circling around a bon fire at a post-wedding celebration. We all talk about where we’ve been and how far we’ve come, because we don’t know exactly where everyone is going [next year].”

3 separate vingettes? Great another choppy episode. Maybe they should write stories that involve more than 2 characters at a time. I can't wait for RRK to go! No one could write worse than her. ALMccord and Donovan look way to old and neither can act, they shouldn't continue on with the show. They ruined Silver so I want her to be written off too. Hopefully the new head writer will make this a better show.

@Caitlyn: I agree that the storyline is rushed, but if you think about it, Raj doesn't really have time to think his actions through. Him and Ivy know they love another and if he only has so little time left, they might as well do what he wants.

The promo looks so boring with all the wedding and elephant stuff. I cannot feel the excitement except for the graduation scene.

As seemingly rushed this storyline is, I have to say I like it because it shows a lot to Ivy's character. It seems like the finale is going to end the season on a high note but I hope there'll be something there for all of us to look forward to for the next season.

It all sounds great, but we still definitely need a good cliffhanger :)

"The episode ends with the gang circling around a bon fire at a post-wedding celebration".
If the episode ends with them sitting around a bonfire discussing where they're all going next year, then doesn't this mean there won't be a cliffhanger? I don't imagine a giant tidal wave coming towards them in the last 30 seconds if there having a bonfire on presumably the beach.

Does this mean some characters like Dixon WILL actually get a storyline? I sure hope so. He's becoming dead weight.

That show is sooo good these days. The campfire thing looks kind of like the old 90210 characters would do. I LOVE IT!

Trust me when I say that they'll all be going to California University next year.
