Grey's Anatomy Season Finale Promo: Emotional Casualties ...
While last night's Grey's Anatomy was terrific in its own right, what may have people buzzing the most this morning is the promo for next Thursday's season finale.
ABC's episode synopsis for "Unaccompanied Minor" indicated that there would be significant consequences for Meredith's dishonesty, while Cristina would be forced into a position where deciding between her career and her relationship is necessary.
Promos can be misleading, but from the looks/sounds of this:
- Derek LEAVES Meredith (or at least someone does ... it's hard to see him splitting, but Alex? Lexie? Maybe Derek "moves out" of their room? There are many possibilities, as your comments prove, but there's zero doubt that Mer faces serious blowback)
- Cristina is PREGNANT.
Wow. Watch the teaser below and weigh in on the Grey's finale Shonda Rhimes promised will wreak emotional havoc for the doctors. Apparently she wasn't kidding.

Yes, Grey's has jumped the shark! OMG! Does anyone -- lawyer, MD, airline exec, etc. -- believe for even a millisecond that doctors who haven't provided care to -- nor even seen the victim's of an airline crash -- would be delivering the bad news to families? Wouldn't happen for so many reasons, including legal, as well as tying that many doctors for that long would never happen. There are trained folks to deal with this sort of very sad situation. There's just no excuse for this shoddy sort of research/writing! Shonda Rimes obviously doesn't allow facts to get in the way of storytelling. On some level, this short-term thinking may seem to mske sense -- but it destroys any semblance of credibility this show had left (and that weren't much). So very, very sad what has happened to this once very good show!

If ya'll look closely, the room that Meredith goes into isn't their room. It's Karev's. It would make total sense that he left because he was mad that Lucy stole his job and that Hunt said that Meredith would probably get chief resident.

okay if this is true that Cristina's pregnant I knew it I'm sorry I knew that was going to be what was up with her. she's going to keep the baby I have faith in her 'cause she loves Owen more than that and Owen won't leave Cristina they have the best relationship on Grey's sorry they just cut it for me as the best relationship on this show. maybe I'm strange I'm not sure, but I had a feeling. and if this means there will be more Kevin McKidd next season then by all means, 'cause really the men in this show apart from Avery, Sloane and Alex have been lacking this season I want more Derek and Owen.

I wonder if SR will be tempted to bring the actor who played Ben now Off the Map has been cancelled. I think that would be interesting to see Ben trying to tempt Bailey away from Eli
