Dexter Season Six Promo: Hallelujah?

by at . Comments

What if the Dark Passenger isn't a need, but a calling? Does Dexter serve a higher purpose? Can a serial killer be a messenger of God?

The sixth season of Dexter will deal with these large issues, as initially teased by showrunner Scott Buck and emphasized in the following trailer for the Showtime hit.

Kicking off a year after the events from the fifth season finale, look for season six to give Dexter a new perspective on his murderous hobby, while addressing the question of what he'll pass on to Harrison. Visit our Dexter spoilers section for more and check out the latest preview now:

I suppose in the "universe' of the tv series Supernatural it was assumed that Angels & the Almighty did not exist except demons/ghosts & etc (unless you include that one scene in season 2 where something stopped them from being hit by a train). But after Chris Carter left the show they allowed our friend Castriel to validate their existence. Therefore, I wonder how much of Dexter's journey is directed by a higher calling as he could've easily turned to his brother "Byran.

Brea Grant hinted that; "This season has a lot of religious elements in it. That's sort of exciting to see all that play out.". The promo hints towards it too. I seriously believe that this season will be focus on a cult or something like a cult.

Dexter Quotes

I love Halloween. The one time of year when everyone wears a mask... not just me. People think it's fun to pretend you're a monster. Me, I spend my life pretending I'm not. Brother, friend, boyfriend - All part of my costume collection. Some people might call me a fraud. Let's see if it will fit. I prefer to think of myself as a master of disguise.
