Game of Thrones has added its final major cast member for season two.

On the heels of Carice van Houten and Stephen Dillane coming on board in key roles, HBO has now announced that Liam Cunningham will portray Davos Seaworth, a fan favorite from George R.R. Martin’s "Song of Ice and Fire novels." The character is a family man and ex smuggler.

Davos is known as “The Onion Knight” because he succeeded in getting food into Stannis Baratheon’s castle during the war. He knighted for these actions.

Look for Dillane's Stannis to enlist Davos to assist him seize the Iron Throne from King Joffrey on the second season of Game of Thrones.
