Warren Christie on Cameron Hicks: An Alphas Exclusive

By the end of this week's Alphas, Cameron Hicks appeared to have settled in to place with the unit.

But Warren Christie says his character will continue to be hesitant about his role, seeing as he "wasn't exactly nicely asked to join the group" on the pilot.

"I've always thought he craved being a part of a team," Christie told me. "But he's gone through such failure in the past. This isn't something he easily slips into."

The relationship between Rosen and Cameron will continue to evolve, as well, with the former "trying to help" the latter feel comfortable.

"Still, that doesn't mean he just jumps in with both feet," Christie said. "He still asks questions... he's not sure where everything fits. There are so many grey areas and that's what drew me to the role."

The actor saw immediate growth potential in this character, not just from an ability standpoint, but as a person, too. He's excited for viewers to see where it all goes this summer, but he won't spoil anything.

Will Cameron and Nina hook up, for example?

"When you have people in the same environment, their lives get interwoven," he said. "But nothing ever goes smoothly on this show. I'll leave it at that."
