I was actually really surprised by how quickly team Alek (myself alongside them) rose to the top and how few people were impressed by Brian - but then I thought about it and it made sense. Shall I make a list? - Brian is in college and Chloe is sixteen. Please. I mean, really. - Brian is a human and Chloe is a Mai, therefore, if they kiss Brian dies. Pretty big impediment. - Brian's dad is evil. - Brian knows absolutely nothing about Chloe's life outside of his relationship with her until later. - Brian makes some pretty dumb decisions, and he's generally clueless as to what's going on. - Chloe's crush on Brian is just that - a crush. Based mostly on attraction. She doesn't really think much about the practicality of all this, does she? May I state now that I don't dislike Brian - actually, I think he's a pretty nice guy. alek is so cute, tht i think tht is y so many ppl like him, plus th fact tht they truly belong togrther. i caught a glimpse in a sneek peak of brian kissing chloe in episode ten, if he does kiss her, he doesnt hav to die, he could just get paralized, remember? but alek is deffinately better thn brian. plus i looked up alek's (benjamin stone)real age and it says he was born in 1990, so tht makes him 20 years old

I think most of the people started as team alek but some of those who started as team alek moved to team alek too, so in this moment are probably less team brian than in the start. It's sad that Andy Reaser is still trying to force us to change the team! Thats not gonna happen, sorry. Team chalek!

If you notice in the interview the response about Brian's mom, I think they're hinting his mom is a Mai which would probably make him half Mai which means he can probably kiss Chloe and not die.

Team Alek all the way! Brian and Chloe's age difference is creepy. And are Alek and jasmine actually cousins or that just a cover story? Also how old is Alek supposed to be, because if he only moved in with Valentina when his parents freaked about him changing then he at most would have only been living with valentina for two years if he's 18?

Team Alek all the way. Brian has no right to keep pushing for Chloe. Chloe cant keep falling back to Brian (IT JUST CANT HAPPEN I WILL DIE!!!!!!!!!) Alek needs to make Chloe know without a doubt in her crazy head that he is the right one for her and that she would be hurting herself, him, and Brian if she tried to even let Brian in agian. I am Team Alek with a passion and whoever ditched the Team Alek side for Team Brian makes me sad. They obviously dont get that Alek is the better man and way better for Chloe.

Are you serious? Okay, there are some devoted Team Brian fans, but the surely don't top Team Alek.
ON every site you go, if it's twitter, FB, tumblr, ABCF itself you'll see that Alek is the most popular of the two.
Personally, I don't like Brian. But the writers keep pushing that character to the fans, while we (I think I can speak for some of us by saying this) would like to see more of the Ma mythology, other races, more of Amy and Paul and Jasmine! And of course more Alek and Chloe.
But that's just my opinion...

because:
-they belong together.
-he knows what she is going through
-he has sense of humor
-he is Mai just like Chloe
-he is protective
-he is funny and cute
-he really loves her
-he is always there for her and he will always be
-she sent text to him when she was in trouble
-they make great team TOGETHER at fights [and not only]
-she admit he is great kisser .yup.

It seems like Reaser is kidding herself. The fans prefer Alek 9 to 1, you see it everywhere - even on ABCF's official poll! Honestly. I don't have anything against Brian, but he and Chloe really don't have the same chemistry as Chloe and Alek do. Their relationship is intense...fiery and competitive, but Chloe and Brian fall a little flat. More like friends, really. If there comes a time where Brian is "chosen," I might stop watching...I live for the Chalek moments! Though, if Chloe doesn't want Ben, I'll take him...gorgeous and British? Count me in! (Plus, he liked the HP7 movie, and I love guys who love Harry Potter)

Seriously? Brian is a failure if only for one solid reason:
HES HUMAN. We knew from the get-go that nothing could happen between Brian and Chloe, so the audience doesn't see them as a couple, therefore there is almost no reason to keep Brian as a love interest.
On the other hand, I would love to see Brian team up with his father to try and take Chloe out. A little more action, less Brian drama.

Hmm. I see through the tumblr website where some, not all, RESPECT Brian's character but not pursaded enough to be a complete team Brian fan. Fanfiction is definitely 98% Team Alek and Chloe! Brian wasn't even added to the character list of fanfic stories until more than half way through the series!

This is the most lopsided love triangle ever. I've have never ever read so many blogs/forums etc where people admit that they FAST FORWARD the whole Brian storyline. That is bad for the show!! Hopefully they give Chloe a new alternative to Alek (goodluck with that) pr make Brian bad. Either way, saying that Brian is gaining fans....... it's just sad to think TPTB actually believe that.

Have the writers/producers not read ANY blogs out there? The majority of people not only prefer Alek but dislike Brian. Does that not tell you anything. His character is bringing the show down. I have a feeling the writers cant admit that the Brian character has failed. Massively.
