I am a Alek fan but i am not rude ! ... I like Brian too and the actor is very hot but at the first episode i was a team Alek ... it is simple ! Brian is prettier than Alek and maybe he is the one for Chloe(what writers and everyone is telling) but i always will be a Alek fan! In my pure opinion is that i spy Chemistry in Calek that i can not see in Bloe??

I fill like writers are trying t make Brian likeable t us .... But i am still team Alek !If chloe does not chose him then make a spin of only for Alek! And they did not show Alek because they know he is a scene stiller ! I will be sad if the do not have a season 2 !! That was smart writers ! You make us need more ! Team alek people!

I hope Brian is not dead also because that will leave Chloe feeling to blame. If he is alive then she can realize that she felt nothing when he kissed her, not like she does with Alek. I agree with Elanor, I think she is in love with the IDEA of Brian, a human and someone she can't have, rather than the actual person. I really think she loves Alek and just doesn't realize it yet because it snuk up on her so slowly. I really like Alek better he is a much more interesting character!! We really need a season 2 to right all of the wrongs done in this finale! BROTHER?! Are you kidding me!! Go Team Alek (who is trending AGAIN) in your face Brian!!!!

OMG!!! The finale left me with my mouth wide open. The ONLY thing I truly knew was that her father would not be there. Everything else was a surprise. I think Chloe will start to feel a lot of guilt because if she would have told the truth to her protectors, they would have been there helping her. But now, it appears her mom will be taken, and all her protectors will be dead. I'm sure Alek will survive the showdown. I agree the show started slow but by the 3rd episode I was all in - I hope it comes back soon!!! This finale was an awesome cliffhanger - WooWhoo to the writers!!!

I was really disappointed to read that the whole finale was about Brian and Chloe. I dvr'd it because I was afraid that would happen and I went on twitter to see if I had a reason to watch.
I read the tweets about the show and what I read SHOCKED me, mind you I realize that all of this was written before they knew how popular Chloe and Alek had become but COME ON!!! A whole show dedicated to Brian and Chloe??? I deleted the show, now I know what you are all thinking, but in my defense I just can not watch things that do not interest me and I have no interest in Brian and Chloe. I am really disappointed in Chloe, I think she is in love with the IDEA of Brian (A HUMAN) more than she is in love with the actual 19 year old.
And heres something interesting:
Even though Alek was in the episode the least HE TRENDED again. Come on writers, an episode that you dedicated to Brian, got Alek trending again...
What does that tell you?

Pros: Overall the series was good and the premis really unigue with lots of room to expand and grow. It does have a Wheadon esk quality (buffy creator) which as a fan of his I love. The final epi was really well done and left me wanting more.
Cons: I think the Chloe/Brian/Alek triangle was an utter fail and was poorly done. I feel that the writers went way over board to try and create a soulmate situation between Brian and Chloe which would have been fine but does not jive with a love triangle....it's kinda of a oxymoron. If you have found your soulmate then you are not going to choose someone else..hense, no real triangle. (this is probably why Wheadon, being as savy as he was, never had a second love interest for Buffy during the time she was with Angel...just would not have made sense). Unfortunately, for me, this means that any attempts at continuing the triangle in season two after the confessions of mutual love by Chloe and Brian will seem silly. The writers have effectively m

One of the stronger episodes of the season. Definitely wanting another season.didnt see Jasmine dying or the brother twist. Never cared for brian. I find the alek character more interesting.

Alek and Jasmine are cousins... so if Alek and Zane are brothers, then Zane is also Jasmine's cousin. Which means Zane knew he was dating and making out with his cousin... weird? ...yes...

OMG, that was an AMAZING finale! I like many of you don't think Brian is dead either ..would love it if he turned out to be part Mai so him and Chloe could be together. Maybe his mom was part Mai also and hence why she was killed? I dunno, but I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope that it comes back SOON! Love the show :)

I had to find somewhere to post comments after that last show. I just finished reading the books, hoping they wouldn't leaving me hanging like the series, but after that TV finale, I am on edge! The books and the series are two different animals- but i think there are certain concepts from the books that I hope this series follows. I don't think Brian is dead- Chloe is the Uniter, after-all-- and I think that is meant in the broader sense, not just with other Mai. I love the way the the series develops Brian and Chloe relationship (much better than the books). I do hope that this show is renewed. When will it air next, if it is renewed?

They better renew. Tonight's episode was amazing. I loved the music and the slow motion shots at the end. It was beautiful. I was shocked by all of the deaths, but especially Brian's. I'm with you, I don't think he's really dead, just hurt. Come on season 2!!

This show ended with too many un answered questions ...all I'm saying is Brian better not be dead and he needs to end up with Chloe some how.Alec yes attractive but he is not a good fit for Chloe and plus Chloe already said she was in love with brain she just said she had feelings for Alec but if it wasn't for the mai thing she would I've already been with brian so hopefully in the up coming seasons something will happen so she will be able to be with brian.

OH MY GOD!!!
1. Definitely dont think Brian is dead. The producer/writer whoever it was already said that the second season would still focus on the love triangle therefore Brian cant be dead.
2. I also wonder if maybe a Mia loves a Human and the Human loves them back then kissing them is okay?!? idk im just trying to figure out how Brian can still be alive.
3. Really want to know what is up with the Grandma?!?!?! Wonder if Chloe's dad and Brian's mom had some kinda affair?!?
4. So sad the scene between Jasmine and Valentine. The tear that came out of their eyes made my heart squeeze so hard for them! Hope one or both of them are not dead.
5. OMG... zane is Alek's BROTHER?!?!? ummm why would he want to kill the uniter, jasmine and valentine? Idk what Alek is going to do? because both are family...

That was definitely an AMAZING finale I mean talk about a cliff hanger right? I am really sad that it's over for now though I don't think Brian is dead or at least I don't think he will remain that way. I will admit at the beginning I was definitely for Brian and then I was for Alek but really I am just for the actor that plays Alek, Brian has TOTALLY grown on me. The character is every girls dream and I am SO glad that the two of them FINALLY admitted their feelings... SUCH A RELIEF (:

first of all alek does have a chance at chloe jus because she says she loves brian buh dat dsnt mean its for sure... anytin can change anytime n she does have feelings for alek n dey are soo much beetter than brian and chloe. i mean which guy wuldnt be mad if he found out dt da girl he was crushing on was sort of playing him cause chloe is looking at him as another option which would make anyone made and not chalek fans are crazzy jus sayin and some of da brian fans dat come out today sayin dis is cuz brian finally had da guts to act like a man.... no offense buh i dnt think people shuld judge chalek fans because chloe and alek actually have ALOT in common :) TEAM CHALEKKK!!!

@bells I haven spoken to the actor, Grey Damon, both on the phone and in person. He is incredibly kind and charming. Don't give up on the character yet. I believe there is more to all of their stories. We just need the chance to learn about them.

BTW the more we fignt over which TEAM is better the more we sound like Twi-hard castoffs. The easiest way to get a show to be hated is arguing over TEAMS a la Twilight. SEASON 2! Also ALEK trended...just saying.

the show started out great the were at a fair having fun then it turns bad i mean aleks brother posions valentina then make her watch him stab her daughter and then brian kisses chloe after she comes back to life i never saw any of that coming.
i think that brian probably will come back to life in season 2 and jasmine might also live in season to but her mom still be dead.
i think that alek and chloe should be together but i was sad and shocked when brian died and i think he should come back to life but chloe be with alek.
i really hope they renew the season

In my opinion it is not that the character of Brian is bad, it is just that the actor that potrays him appears void of emotion and chemistry. The actor has not made me believe once that he cares for Chloe or that he even wants to be involved with the show. Sorry, I am not trying to upset anyone I am only stating my opinion as we all have one.

I'm so glad to see you Brian supporters sneaking out after the finale. He proved tonight there is no reason to be embarrassed to root for him. Both guys are in the game and both have great qualities that can drive us wild! :-)
