T.R. Knight to Portray Suspected Rapist on Law & Order: SVU
T.R. Knight has booked his first television role since leaving Grey's Anatomy in 2009.
The actor will guest star on an episode of Law & Order: SVU this season, portraying a suspected rapist who stands by his innocence, even in the face of mounting evidence to the contrary.
Knight played Dr. George O'Malley on Grey's Anatomy for five years, exiting the series a few years after Isaiah Washington made comments disparaging his sexuality in 2006. He has since appeared in a couple stage productions.
No date has been set for Knight's Law & Order: SVU episode, but the series returns on Wednesday, September 21.

It's about time! I've wanted to see T.R. Knight make a reappearance on TV ever since his departure from Grey's Anatomy. I'm really excited for this. :D
