Who Won So You Think You Can Dance?
Considered a frontrunner for a duration of the season, 19-year old Melanie Moore fulfilled her promise tonight and was named the So You Think You Can Dance champion.
The Marietta, Georgia native and Fordham University student garnered 47 percent of the vote, defeating Sasha (second), Marko (third) and Tadd (fourth) in the final tally.
In addition to her dancing ability, Moore was consistently praised by the SYTYCD judges for her acting chops, something they noted since her first Contemporary routine, when Melanie and Marko pretended to be two statues yearning to merge as one.

100% GOT IT RIGHT!!!! GO MELANIE! so happy to see her win! I saw her performance in Georgia and she instantly became my favorite and stayed that the whole season! I hope she has an amazing career and that Lady Gaga hits her up and gets her a job! :D
