Grey's Anatomy Photo Preview: "Take the Lead"
April calling the shots. That's a concept that's going to require some adjusting to - for April and everyone else.
In the third episode of the fall (September 29, one week after next Thursday's two-part premiere), The Chief makes a big career-changing decision, Cristina and Owen try to find normalcy, and April continues to struggle in her new role as Chief Resident, which was almost a foregone conclusion.
Meanwhile, the fifth year residents are at last given their first solo surgeries, only to find out that even the most routine procedures aren't always easy. The title of this episode, fittingly, is "Take the Lead."

I doubt Owen get's Meredith her job back because its not Richard that wanted to fire her. The board ruled on that. Richard will do the fatherly thing and take the fall for Meredith. I am glad she is back in scrubs. She shouldn't have been fired. They have done far worse things on Grey's and no one got fired. Izzie cut LVAD's, Cristina didn't call Teddy her attending and was going to do a solo surgery last season and didn't get reprimanded. I just hope Derek gets over being irrational.

Ok so we think that Richard takes the fall for Mer, but where does it say she looses Zola? The pictures clearly show that she is back in scrubs, but we haven't seen the first two epps so maybe the promo is a teaser, maybe she is supposed to be fired but there is a but.... and why would she loose Zola? Don't know where this is coming from...not long to wait people.... And isn't Shondra committed to the whole adoption story line....

There are also some photos of MerDer in Mer's kitchen for 8.03. Mer's wearing slippers and is doing laundry. Der doesn't look very happy. I don't think there'll be any McDreamy moments at the beginning of S8, or even ofr a few episodes. :(((((((((

I don't think Cristina would have to ask for Mer to get her job back. If the Chief takes the fail, the condition would be that Mer is reinstated.

meredith gets her job back because the chief ends up taking the blame for her. thats also why owen ends up being chief, because richard took the bullet for meredith
