Grey's Anatomy Photo Preview: Batter Up!

How did it take Grey's Anatomy eight seasons to form a hospital softball team?

In the October 27 episode, Owen emphasizes teamwork outside of the workplace as well as in it, signing the surgeons up for a softball league and taking on their arch rival Seattle Presbyterian.

The subtexts are plentiful as the team takes the field, with Lexie trying to hide her jealous rage when she sees her ex Mark with a new woman, only to have her emotions get the better of her.

Meanwhile, Alex fights to keep Zola at Seattle Grace and not moved to another hospital due to a conflict of interest with Meredith and Derek, and Richard scolds Meredith and Bailey for their feud.

In case there's any confusion, this week's all-new episode is "Poker Face." The softball game, in all its glory and humor, takes place a week from Thursday in the seventh episode of Season 8.
