True Blood Casting Scoop: Werewolves Galore!

True Blood is set to pack in a number of new werewolves next summer.

According to casting notes first revealed by TV Line, the series will bring in many new creatures, many of which will interact with Alcide and one of whom will almost definitely be his father, J.D. That character is featured prominently in Charlaine Harris’ fifth book.

Among others who will debut on season five:

• Marcus’ mother, Annie.
• Rikki, a young werewolf curious about what happened to Marcus.
• A pair of "beta dogs" tasked with an interrogation of a key character.
• Holly’s teenage sons, Rocky and Wade.
• A corrupt judge.
• A dead-serious vampire named Cat.
