BTW - for those who think Saul might be the mole in the CIA - think of who else had the same knowledge and access as Saul. There is only one person.. (just a hint - I'm not naming names..)

A great series.. well written, timely and a wonderful cast. It's had twists that I never saw coming, which is a sign of great writing.

Idiotboxer: My partner also thought the VP might be the mole. Possible. But then, doesn't that contradict last week, when they showed Abu Nazir setting the VP up as a target by having Brody watch his speech disavowing any blame for the death of Nazir's son and the other children?

What I love is the complexity of the characters. The episode last week that showed how Brody was turned gave both Brody and Abu Nazir depth (not that I'm a fan of Abu Nazir, mind you).

I'm thinking the mole could be David.

I hope not, but Saul seem to be the third mole. Tell me it ain't so.

i also thought the Washington socialite could be involved...she seems to have a double agenda. But much as I hate to say it, is it Saul? He had access to the prisoner, knew about the Saudi meet with Walker. I need to be convinced it's not him!
Where are we going with this with only two episodes left??

@Idiotboxer

If the VP was the terrorist then not only is Walker useless to them, but Brody is useless to them too. Walker's sole purpose is to kill the VP who lied about Issa's murder... and Brody's sole purpose is to infiltrate the white house and become VP or President himself one day. None of that is necessary if the VP were a terrorist.

It's the lady from church, the one who had the party. The one who told Saul she had plans for Brody. I think she's the mole.

Maybe a longshot, but could the vice president be the leak? I thought it was odd that he was watching the whole thing personally. Plus he is personally involved in trying to get Brody to run for Congress. Sure Brody hates him because he things that he is responsible for the bombing, but maybe Nazir is just letting Brody think that in order to use him. Nazir didn't tell Brody about Walker being alive either so it is conceivable that he wouldn't tell him he is working with the vice president. That is one twist that might be too good (and too potentially controversial) to be true.

I kept telling my friends that Homeland ripped off The Walking Dead's storyline of "Husband presumed dead, so the wife fucked his best friend".

It's not the most original story, but for Homeland to do it a year after The Walking Dead did is a little odd. The circumstances surrounding the story aren't even that different. One was in the army and the other was a policeman, but they were both presumably killed in the line of duty.

It's still a fantastic show and I look forward to it taking all the Emmys it can take next year. I think Damien Lewis is a shoe-in for Best Actor although Bryan Cranston pretty much has that in the bag. Claire Danes is a shoe-in for Best Actress though, I don't know any other one who could beat her out (it really depends on how good Mireille Enos and Elisabeth Moss are when their shows come back from hiatus).

The show is just phenomenal, I also look forward to watching every single episode for the next few years.
