The beginning of the end is almost upon us.

On January 11, One Tree Hill will kick off its final season with an episode titled "Know This, We Noticed." What can fans expect from the first episode back? The CW has released the official description below, which follows a harrowing network preview:

The ninth and final season of One Tree Hill welcomes new hopes, challenges and dangers... As Brooke and Julian begin to adjust to life with their new children, Haley and Nathan find themselves dealing with similar issues. Although they don't know it yet, faces from the past threaten to interrupt plans for all their futures. Meanwhile, a mysterious problem arises for Clay and Quinn.
