I think the actress made a mistake (we all make mistakes, whether we're movie stars or normal people), by leaving Grey's too early and she's trying to make up for it. Give her a chance, benefit of the doubt and let her back on. If we refused to offer a second chance to others after they made a mistake, we'd have no body.

No, No, No, a thousand times no. She wanted off the show to be a big movie star, which did not happen, none of her movies were great hits. Then she wanted to stay home with her little girl now she wants back on a show she slammed more than once. I want Alex to get a girl but not go backwards with "Izzie".
Shonda, please, please. please do NOT have her back.

I hope that Katherine Heigl is not offered the opportunity to return.
First and foremost, Izzie became increasingly annoying as the series progressed. The ghost sex sealed the deal for me. Also, she was a b*tch to Alex and her friends when she left and I would find it hard to believe that Meredith and Cristina would be so accepting of her. More importantly, we have a new Izzie with April...do we REALLY need another? GA Writers, please spare us.
Secondly, Katherine Heigl had no issue publicly disrespecting the writers that gave her the storylines which led to her Emmy. She was a BIG drama queen while employed with Grey's and had no issue walking away from the show without giving her fans a complete and proper end to Izzie's sudden departure. Now she wants to come back? Now she cares about where Izzie has been and how she's grown? In the words of Shonda Rhimes and all the writers that were disrespected, Seriously?

I do not think she should come back. The way she left was wrong and really, she put Alex through hell too. She doesn't deserve it. Also the only reason why she wants to is because that career she thought she had isn't really great. I like her but her time at Grey's has come and done.

YES! I want Izzie back. It's obvious Alex still misses her, so it would be great if they got back together. Katherine Heigl was amazing on GA, and I want to know what has happened with her character since we last so her.

She'll be back at some point. Whether its this season or next really depends on how contract negotiations go for the original cast members, especially for justin chambers.

I like KH only in GA, everywhere else she was just mediocre, she's not a major movie star, she was a major TV star (past tense), & it seems that she's neither now.
I want her to come back & kick some arse & make Alex happy again ( I happen to like his character a lot). KH was totally awesome on Greys, but... that's it. That what happens when you run after two rabbits,.. you get none.
If they'll accept her back it's certainly not 'coz she's became a huge movie star, it's 'coz she was brill on the show or maybe 'coz they'd have a story line for her character, anyway I want Izzie baaaaaack!!!

I think it would be great to have KH guest star on the show. They need to have the story come to an end, but in a better way. It was just to hard to except the end in this way? It was so forced! I don't need to see KH join the cast again.

That would be awesome. Katie Heigl drama aside, they have never given Alex anyone else to be serious about, and it would play perfectly that he's just still in love with and missing her. And Alex is so sad alone all the time. Bring her back and give them some drama but then let them be together!

I loved Izzy Stevens. And I think she is a great actress and like some movies she has been in. However Katherine was so rude and vocal about hating working on the show and she thought she was a big star and would make all these movies and be in demand and well that has not happened. So with her tail between her legs she is begging to come back

I've always been frustrated by the way Izzie left the show, so it would be good if she could come back. And even if some don't like her, I still say her character is more useful and interesting than Kepner or Avery.
Besides, aren't we back to focusing on the former interns group of the first seasons ? She could fit there too.
And if possible, let's bring her back to Alex, he needs a girlfriend or a love interest, a more mature Izzie might do it.

Get real people! Katherine Heigl is a major movie star now. Not only that but having Izzie return would be a very interesting story line that would bring up the shows ratings. All in all, its good for ABC and Greys Anatomy to have her back. It brings in more money. They are not gonna say No to Katherine Heigl.
