Once Upon a Time... ABC debuted a fascinating, fun new series that gave viewers a fresh outlook on the world of fairy tales and the characters with whom we thought we were so familiar.

Then, the network yanked it off the air for a few weeks due to a busy holiday season. The nerve!

But Emma, Regina and company finally return on Sunday, January 8 - and we've got a trio of sneak peeks at the upcoming episode "Desperate Souls," for fans to enjoy. They take us into the sheriff's office and also give us a glimpse at trouble for Rumplestiltskin.
