Cuba Gooding Jr. to Plead Guilty on Fox

Cuba Gooding Jr. has signed on for his first extended TV role, nabbing the lead in Guilty, a Fox drama from producers Greg Berlanti and Marc Guggenheim. It will focus on an attorney (Gooding Jr.) who loses his legal license after a fraud conviction and is forced to solve cases via unusual methods.
Eva Amurri Martino will co-star as a lawyer who works closely with the Oscar winner's Billy Remz.

Among other new casting scoops:
- David Eigenberg has been cast on Chicago Fire, a Dick Wolf-produced drama that centers on the lives of Chicago firefights. In his first regular role since Sex and the City, Eigenberg will portray a character who moves in with his in-laws after losing his house to foreclosure.
- F. Murray Abraham has joined ABC's remake of Beauty and The Beast as a man of state described as "wise and trusted but duplicitous." Darius Campbell will portray the latter title character on the drama, a bodyguard named Shiro.
