I am eagerly awaiting season 3 of Downtown Abbey. Hopefully they can show us Mary and Matthew's wedding. Maybe through flashbacks they can show us Sybil's wedding. Maybe we will find out whether Anna is pregnant with Bates child? I find Downtown Abbey one of the best shows on TV. Thank You Masterpiece for such an enjoyable show! Hopefully there will be more than 3 seasons.
I totally understand the addiction as I am a huge fan. Downton Abbey's storyline wow, it was the culture, politics fashion so much to take in. Job excellently done. Thank you PBS Masterpiece.
I love Downton Abby from the get go! Can't imagine having to wait till next year to see Season 3. Love John Bates(Brendan Coyle). I am in the process of watching Lark Rise to Candleford. Love it too. I guess I'll have to get my fix of Brendan Coyle in the other British series that he has starred in.
Thank God that you don't have to wait till 2013. I just watched the British version on the web when people post to my favorite site. ;-)
I have never been so addicted to a series as I am with Downton Abbey! I was hooked from the very first episode, and I can not wait to see season 3!
Well, all I got to say, is by the time Americans get to see season 3 on PBS, there will be a lot of them into something else. That is how it is over here, we can lose interest fairly fast! Be wisdom on this producers part to allow it to come to America as soon as Britian! But oh well there are a lot of other interesting shows here too!
Downton Abbey is a beautifully done! A splendid and phenomenal series that has added a great a deal of culture to the American viewing audience. Hopefully, American writers, producers and directors will respond to television viewers with some superior qauality programing instead of the current violence and sexual suggestive junk presently on network television.
Thank you Jullian Bellows and the entire cast for this beautiful production.
Give us more!
I recently purchased both seasons 1 and 2 (in order to catch up)...Brilliant! I found I was always waiting for Maggie Smith's reaction and words of wisdom/comic relief. Now waiting for season 3 and well worth waiting for. In fact, I may cross the pond (from Canada)and visit Highcleve (that is, if I can get in!).
'ner ner ner ner ner, its about time we brits got something first.'
Wow! Each brilliantly devised character and the intertwined, enthralling plot twists make the viewer hunger for more!!! May have to jump the pond to visit the English relatives and watch the telly. I cannot wait until 2013!!! Glad Mary and Matthew are finally coming together to find peace and happiness! Now let's have Sybille's bay, and find Edith her own Prince Charming!!! I still don't trust Thomas...the guy you love to hate!!!
