Jeanne Tripplehorn has nabbed her first TV role since Big Love.

The veteran actress will soon appear on multiple episode of New Girl, EW reports, coming on board as the ex-wife of Jess' new love interest, a school teacher played by Dermot Mulroney. Look for Tripplehorn's character to go out of her way to make Jess feel miserable about moving on with her former husband.
