Jessica Lucas Cast as Lead of Cult

Jessica Lucas is headed back to The CW.

The actress - who had roles on both Melrose Place and 90210 - has been cast on Cult, an upcoming pilot from Gossip Girl creators Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage.

Lucas will star on the series as Skye, a production assistant on a TV show (also called Cult) who teams up with an investigative journalist after a number of crimes are discovered that appear to be based on that show's scripted storylines.

If it gets picked up, Cult will be included on The CW's fall schedule.
