I happen to think this season is more interesting then any other season at least we get to see Nathan in a different way, I like Nate but for the last 2 season his character got kind of boring. The only bad thing about this season is mouth weight gain story line

I am a little disappointed that all of this waiting for Lucas to come back and he only comes back for one episode. Where is he going to be if it is Nathan under the sheet is he going to miss his own brothers funral! Since Lucas came back for one episode it makes me think now that it might not be Nathan under the sheet. So I agree with Lo. I can't wait until next week. Hopefully They don't kill off Nathan and he finishes out the season like Lucas is not! I guess we just have to wait and see!

Oh Dolls, one more thing. The sheet next week. It's not going to be Dan or Nathan. Haley reacts like that because she is relieved it is not Nathan, and we know it is not Dan because we have not seen the scene yet where he is in the car with the gun with Chris Keller that was in episode 1 AND it was not in the previews for next week, so it will be in a later episode. You can sleep tight now.

This episode infuriated me. What a waste of Chad Michael Murray's Guest Star. Couldn't he have come back for one day and seen Haley, Brooke & most importantly DAN and then take the kids? The Desk Cop twist was horrible and I laughed out loud when he said the line about them "not wanting to promote me to detective!!" Horrible story, horrible writing, horrible acting. The Russian kidnap story is bad enough, now they have to add this convoluted twist to it that doesn't even make ANY sense? I have watched OTH since season one. It has been pretty unbearable since Lucas & Haley left (an episode that should have been the series finale), but i stuck with and suffered through this show since because I am a fan. The way this final season has been written so far is a HUGE disappointment. The only thing that will make it worth watching till the end is if they do have a redemption of Dan in the end & he makes peace with Nathan after he rescues him. They better not kill off Dan in

The scene where Lucas Jamie and Lydia leaves has to be my favorite scenes ever and the sing goes in hard, one of my best episode and this season is sick

You know what? I fall in love with Chase for every episode there is. He is so good looking and caring. The way he looks after Chuck is adorable, and if I were in the series I would go after him and I would never leave him, for ANYTHING. I mean, cmon! I just hope he realizes that it wasn't the bike, but Chuck's dad who gave Chuck that wound, bastard. I've never been a great fan of Chuck, but today he was pretty ok. And who does that man think he is, coming to here, beating his kid and (possibly wife) and treat them like crap while he goes to the bar checking girls up? A - hole.
Sorry for my french, but someone had to..
I hope Nate will get out next episode or else I will start to cry again.

But a good thing is that Dan found something on the video. But what I don't understand is they have followed Nathan from Europe to Tree Hill and then kidnapped him? OR maybe he got kidnapped and was made to make that video for his family, but that wouldn't match because he was wearing another shirt, so anyways..
The other stuff that was going around Tree Hill was rather boring, but I couldn't help to feel a bit scared for Brooke where she sat in that room talking to those judges(?) or something, I knew something bad was going to happen, and yes, it did, kind off.. That creepy what's his name is out of prison and was standing outside the cafe.. Not a good sign I would say. Saying that he didn't get convicted of Quentin's death, I just wanted to slap the be-Jesus out of him. Oh, I cried like a baby when Quentin died.

I have been pretty bored about the storyline of Nathan and his kidnappers.. That accent is getting on my nerves, but I gotta say, Dimitri's line: "Are you Chuck, on the Gossip Girl? No means no" was hilarious. But when Nathan finally got himself loose I thought this was the end! FREEDOM HERE I COME! Everyone would be reunited, the police could arrest those people, happy ending. But wait? The police, or the desk man was in on this all along, oh what a coincidence.. Just because they didn't want to make him a detective and his salary sucks he kidnapped Nathan Scott. Well that's just super. My heart just sank when I saw Dimitri up and going. That was the moment where I knew, that cop was a dirty cop. We were so close to get out of this hellhole.. I caught myself almost crying.

OMG. Ok, from the beginning!
It was so good to see Lucas again! And I agree with you Dan, Lucas gives a comfortable vibe. But I'm really disappointed that he won't stay anymore than this episode.. Oh, I love him and I couldn't get enough of him. And I immediately started to cry when Lucas hugged Haley at the airport. The music in the background and how you could see on her face she was trying to keep it together and he holding her tight and kissing her, was just the Haley and Lucas moment we needed, or I needed.

Just because she's crying, doesn't mean it's someone she loves. She could be crying out of RELIEF, that it's NOT Nathan or someone in her life. It's like in season 1 when Peyton had to identify the man they found at sea (who they thought might be her father). She said, "It's not him," and then completely broke down crying. So I'm hoping it's either one of the bad guys, or someone completely unrelated to the story, and she's crying with relief that Nathan could still be alive. Let's hope!

Logan is Clay's son - who else would name a child after his favourite superhero? :P
As for the body under the sheet, I reckon it's Dan. It just can't be Nathan, I don't think ANYONE would be impressed with one of the main characters being killed off right at the end, and I'm sure Mark Schwahn knows that. Saying that, if its not Dan, I'm going for the dream. Or that Mark is just mean :(
I'm holding out for another Lucas scene, just because the kids have to come back! It's unlikely, as everywhere says its just the one episode that Chad came back for, but I'm gonna keep dreaming!
Lastly, out of curiosity, if you didn't watch the show anymore (since S6) why are you reading episode recaps O_o;

Oh and I like already suspected the cop of being shady the minute we were introduced to his character..... To much time was spent on his scene for him not to be apart of something else going on. There was just something about his demeanor that put me off. Also then he showed up at hayleys front door, the visit felt wrong, again something was off. Then my suspicions were confirmed when he showed up when nathan was trying to escape, I was like "sh!t, u gotta be kidding me?!" Then I thought I was wrong when he handed him the gun. then we come face to face with the bad guy and the gun doesn't go off. DISSAPOINTMENT/SIGH/SHRUG (in that order.....)

Stopped watching the show when Lucas and Peyton left. So for me the series ended Season 6.

Lo - youre right, out was in his head, my bad, lol. And now that you've explained it like that it makes more sense but I dont see how parents would just let their son wonder the world alone in the mental state he was in, let adobe a medical professional. It half makes sense. Lol. it would definitely be cool if he was clays kid, hes soooo cute, and he would be another friend for jamie :)
another note that came to me after reading all the comments - I dont really see hayley crying like that over anyone else but nate or quinn. definitely not dan, even if dan ends up being killed saving nathan, she would cry and be sad, but no where near as torn up the way she its in the scene we saw in the premiere. So I'm still pulling for it being a dream about nathan, maybe cause as of right now its the only thing that makes complete sense, lol.

I think Logan is DEFINITELY Clay's kid. When he first saw Logan standing outside, the doctor said Logan's parents "both died and he's living with his grandparents." This doctor has known and been treating Clay since Sarah died. I think the doctor, Clay's family AND Sarah's family all know that Clay is in a fuge state and can't remember his own son. SO they've let him be, let him live life until he comes to the conclusion, or comes out of the state, on his own. They're placing Logan in the same hospital, hoping for Clay to be shaken up and finally remmeber. And it was ACTUALLY Sarah's ghost: it was the Sarah in Clay's mind, the Sarah he remembered. He was essentially talking to himself. We've seen all along that Clay has issues. This is him finally coming to terms with them and "waking up" to find his son. At least, that's what I'm hoping.

After reading some of the comments I just wanted to put a thought out there...I dont want Nathan to die at all, but James was the one that didnt want to do a full season so it would kind of make sense if they killed him off. So if he does die we cant fully blame the writers because if he had signed on for a full season he probably wouldnt have died; he should have just signed on for a full season since its the last one (kind of made me upset along with Hilarie Burton not being able to reach an agreement to come back). And it makes sense that Quinn was the one that went to the airport with Haley because that is her sister, but I dont understand the lack of communication with Brooke. I understand that the past 2 episodes have been over only 2 days, but still...something doesnt seem right with this. In true One Tree Hill fashion Brooke would have been able to juggle 2 kids, married, cafe, clothing line (what happened with that btw?), and friends.

so it seems rather obvious now that the sheet scene was a dream and i think its a major cop out i've been so excited for all those scenes to pop up and none yet have been a disappointment. i mean i wasn't happy thinking nathan died but i applauded them for being so ballsy i mean i was really hoping it was dan and that he finally had been redeemed but o well

Whoever does die, dies around the 10th episode in a storyline that goes over 2 episodes and apparently the death is 'selfless'. May as well just confirm it is Dan Scott.

I think it is Julian who dies. I think X kills him in a car related accident. That is why Brooke was crying and throwing a tantrum at the church. They won't kill Brooke or Nathan. It can't be Haley or Clay. Quinn wouldn't be in danger unless the drug dealer comes back for her. I am saying Julian or Dan but I would bet on Julian dying

if clay had a child, wouldn't he have found out some time since the accident? doesn't he or sarah have parents or other family members that would have reminded him at some point he had a son?
