Game of Thrones Season 2 Pics: New Characters are Coming

We mean no disrespect, Tyrion, Arya, Robb, Cersei and Joffrey. Especially to you, Joffrey. Seriously. Please take it easy on our heads.

But a lot of the excitement surrounding season two of Game of Thrones is based on the new characters that will come on board, folks fans of the novels have been yearning to see portrayed on the small screen. Like Melisandre (Carice van Houten). Or Davos Seaworth (Liam Cunningham).

HBO has released new photos from the season ahead of these characters, many of which are included below. Visit our Game of Thrones picture gallery for more, and click on each image here for a larger version:

Guess the new characters are not too bad, but Natalie Dormer as Margaery, she is too old, and not sure she it pretty enough to give Cerci a run for her money. Ygritte actress does not look plain enough, and Melisandre's actress is really not tall enough. Should have gotten someone to play Melisandre that was at least 5'10". Impressed with that they found Brienne, but really Gwendoline Christie is too pretty,

Then again Tyrion is not ugly enough, and I would have a hard time mistaking Arya for a boy, and she is actully too pretty in the show, but Maisie Williams does a great job if you ignore the fact she is suppose to be very plain and boyish.
