Justin Hartley Cast on CW Medical Pilot

He won't be starring on The Green Arrow, but Justin Hartley is sticking around The CW.

The former Smallville actor has landed the lead on First Cut, a medical drama that focuses on a female doctor's first year of residency. Hartley will come on board the series as Will, a popular surgical intern on staff.

Hartley will receive medical experience on the network prior to shooting the pilot: he guest stars this spring as a love interest for Dr. Zoe Hart on Hart of Dixie.
