He may be entering the pantheon of great TV villains this season on Justified, but Neal McDonough will soon be back on the right side of the law.
The veteran actor has been cast as Los Angeles Police Chief William Parker on L.A. Noir, the upcoming TNT drama from Frank Darabont.
Also featuring former Heroes star Milo Ventimiglia, L.A. Noir will be based on a novel by the same name and take place in the 1940s/1950s. It will center on a rivalry between McDonough's cop and a not-yet-cast mobster named Mickey Cohen.
Darabont will write and direct the premiere.
