Zachary Quinto Books Major Arc on New Season of American Horror Story

Zachary Quinto will be joining Jessica Lange as a major player on season two of American Horror Story.

A day after Ryan Murphy confirmed the actress would return to the drama, albeit in a different role from season one's Constance, Deadline now reports that the former Heroes star will come on board this fall as one of two male leads who will serve as a "nemesis" for Lange's new character.

The actor appeared on four episodes last year as Chad, one half of the couple who resided in the haunted house at the center of the story.

That will change on season two, of course, as AHS is done with the Harmons and will move to the East Coast. Reports indicate it will be center around an institution of some sort when it returns.

We'll know more tonight when TV Fanatic speaks to Murphy and company on the red carpet of Paleyfest 2012.

Just trying to find out when it starts again, evertybody leaves that out, even FX. Great series can't wait. Everyone keeps playing, because they all come back as dead people.

This is great news! I wonder if they'll recast any other people from season 1?
