Dan is going to screw things up. He always do. When did he actually succeed in something? It is so obvious he´s going to destroy the relationship with blair as well.. by the end of this show he will leave new york to discover the world, or visit Vanessa..

chair were once epic, but now's it's dair's turn so just enjoy the ride.

Blair's Denial is the only common thing but for build up,Dan pined after for the latter half ,which became a very wonderful friendship between them,then Blair acknowledged and now they are in love.Except the last two episodes it was all buildup and a wonderful one at that.

You didn't see the buildup but i saw.For me it was very similar to Chair in the aspect that Blair was in denial both the times and the D and Ch of Dair and Chair were not.If so then Chair did not have a build up too it just happened when he saw her in the burlesque club till that moment it was CHanygirl and Nair

See I didn't find any buildup to Dair. It happened abruptly, as if the writers only just realised there wasn't much time yet and they had to get dair over and done with. I mean, it shows inconsistant writing. One minute Blair is saying she is in love with Chuck and it has always been him, and next minute she apparently has this crush on Dan Humphrey. I see absolutely no love between them. I see maybe a friendship relationship but nothing more. That is why I find it just awkward and really embarrassing to watch them kiss, because I don't see any passion they have for each other. Don't tell me that Dan and Blair are this great love story, because Dan falls in love with new girls every season so I just can't take dair seriously. When it comes to Dan/Vanessa verse Dan/Blair I guess it is just about the chemistry of the actors. I really saw something with Dan and Vanessa, and I could see why they would fall for each other. But maybe it's because I just don't think that Pen Badgley

Alice you are wrong. Vanesa certainly was not perfect girl for the Dan. The only perfect girl for the Dan was, is and will be - Serena. Remember the season 1 and 2 so it's clear why I wrote this. The role of Vanessa in the whole story was that hinders love between Serena and Dan. Vanessa said this at the end of 4 season in a conversation with the Ivy: Four years I trying to break up Serena and Dan, now I will not let the Dan be with Blair. Dan and Vanessa did not have what it takes to make their relationship successful, as have neither Dan and Blair.

I thought the problem between Dan and Vanessa was that they found they did not view things similarly at the end they were constantly at odds .they have a similar background but that did not mean they had same outlook .Just because two people have same backgrounds does not mean they should end up together.If they do, no problem ,but that (backgrounds) should not be the only deciding factor.You say Dan and Blair are not soulmates what gave you the idea that Dan and Vanessa are, atleast the show never mentioned it.I never claimed that Dan and Blair were destined to one another ,they look happy when they are with one another how this relationship pans out is up to the showrunners but till now i have liked what i have seen .Dan and Vanessa did not have even the builup that Dan and Blair had.I can see the love between Dan and Blair and the whole scene of the last episode (on the steps) atleast for me was perfect.

I think that it is brilliant that Serena and Nate help Chuck but Blair is exceeding. Because Blair is not a contribution in Chuck's life.

I think that Vanessa was the perfect girl for Dan. They both looked at things the same way, had similar upbringings and the buildup to their relationship was great. Dan and Blair have nothing compared to those two. I just honestly don't see how Blair and Dan can be considered 'soulmates'. Just because two people have similar taste in literature does not make them destined for each other. I honestly see no passion or love between Blair and Dan, they are not entertaining to watch and the actors have no chemistry with each other. I really wish Vanessa would have stayed. They could have finished up with Blair/Chuck, Serena/Nate, and Vanessa/Dan. Everyone would be happy.

I think the writers are experimenting with the show too much like the whole princess story? -.- No stop changing it D: writer to what you know haha lol they really do need to go back to what it was in season 1 and 2 :) more scandalous :)

It has already been explained. But here again, and from me - NJBC means not judging breakfast club, which consists of: Serena, Nate, Chuck and Blair. They were friends since childhood, and therefore they are only members.

I was responding to Alice.He should be with Serena if he wants to be or even with Vanessa that is up to him and the other party involved .At this moment it is too early for me to say other than Blair for me they looked really in love in the last episode.Reconciliation with Vanessa looks very bad after what happened between them.As for Bart if Bart is alive he was the one who gave Chuck blood.

For such a plot that you described Bart does not have to be alive. NJBC save Bart legacy which he left to his son - Chuck. Second, there is no logic that Bart is alive after all this time. If Bart was still alive, it will affect the cancellation of a marriage between Lily and Rufus. It is possible that this fits into the drawing of the line at the end of the season.

I am very intrigued to see how this Bart Bass storyline will play out, and exactly how they will bring him back.
Glad to hear that the NJBC is returning, I am keen for some storylines featuring the core four of the show. I wonder what they will be doing though.
Good grief I hope Dan gets offered a job in Rome and decides to live there. Then Vanessa can fly over the mediterranean to be with him and they can live happily ever after.
How do you guys think they will bring Bart Bass back into the mix?

Bart is alive and has amnesia from the accident. He's in the care of Diana all along, conspiring with Jack Bass all the while. Motive? Transfer of wealth by manipulating Bart. NJBC to the rescue.

i miss gossip girl's glory days if you know what mean and i could still remember a few years back that this show was nominated for an emmy award for "breakthrough performance".. i just hope that the writers can fix the mess that they did to the show. Oh and BTW, im also rooting for the whole "Bart Bass must have been alive all these years" rumored storyline. I believe that this can be an epic ripple effect on all the characters. this show is about the UES not some sloppy relationship show. i fuckin hate DAIR its like you just mixed cheap waffles with expensive caviar. I HOPE THIS EPISODE WILL BE AWESOME.

I think you're right. The first quarrel between Dan and Blair may be about why Dan is not in NJBC. And why Blair is spending time with Chuck in NJBC. Maybe at the end of the season comes to the disintegration NJBC because Blair and Dan.
