Gossip Girl > Gossip Girl Review: What Does it All Mean? > Comments Page 7
Can someone tell me how the book series ends? Who ends up with who in the final book?
so nate banged chuck's MOM........ WOW thats weird
That being said, for once Dair was not the major thing that I liked in the episode. Of course Dan and Blair were just adorable to watch but I was actually interested in the plot.
I applaud Ed Westwick's performance even if I agree with the reviewer here about the fact that it's been done before. Blame the writers. But it was truly touching.
Serene really deserves to be found out. I have a feeling it's going to cause a major uproar which I cannot wait to see.
Rufus is finally becoming interesting. I am so fed up of Lily's attitude, which reminded me of Serena's at times when she was with Dan. I want him to become who he used to be.
Flawless as Christina said.
They were flawless!
Lovers can plan parties too you know. They can discuss books in bed. They can debate on intellectual matters. Why are we always relegating those things to friendship? I understand you don't see the chemistry between them and that's perfectly alright. Yet, I don't understand why having Dan and Blair do these things make them more suited as friends. It's not good to appropriate these actions to a certain type of relationship. It's very dictatorial and limiting. In the end, it's not about what they do, it's about whether you see the chemistry or not. Dair fans see it, others don't and it ends here.
More Dair crap, eh? UGH I'm in no rush to watch this episode then, mainly for Chuck's storyline...PLEASE BRING CHAIR BACK ASAP
If Dair means Dan is out of the way for Serenate to happen then I'll be happy.
But ultimately I want Chair, I was a little hopeful that there relationship would've "gone the way of the clog" tonight but alas I was disappointed. I give Chuck -who was fantastic tonight, seriously I just wanted to give him a hug- until the end of the season. He needs get his girl back- even though Blair doesn't deserve him back. (Did she even care/know about that bombshell, I think a few lines of comfort would've been nice)
When did her and Serena start bitchfest-ing? And were any of Rufus's lines necessary?
I don't see what Dair fans see, in fact I would be worried if I was them. The scene with Dair planning the party, it felt like when Serena and Blair planned parties in the first seasons, 2 BFF choosing party things. The final Dair scene felt like 2 children or 2 sibblings discussing things before going to sleep. Relationships are not all about sex but besides some kisses (and the one in the party had a weird preambule what with the hand shake and stuff) there weren't really any couple complicity in Dair, and that's necessary for a couple.
Lily and Rufus were so so, but the rest did make a better episode than the previous one, and I'm proud that Chuck and Nate have a sense of shame as opposed to Serena and Blair that have lost it.
The canadian promo seems to be out sort of.
Humphrey and Waldorf need to make babies already
Dan and Blair's party was so cute, its so them and they are the core of the show these day
I pretty much watched this episode while glued to my computer completing work stuff. The characters have become pretty dull. While it had the twists and turns, I just don't feel that excited about it. I'm also a little mad at Blair because even after the gossip girl blast went out about chuck's mom, there was no checking in on him. Chuck paid her dowry and set her free to host the salon with Dan, and she can't even check on Chuck.....There's no way the real Blair wouldn't at least send a text. Anyway, the plot twist that will affect the triangle is probably that the baby was really chuck and blair's after all. Maybe Diana got the real story from Gossip girl since she was working the spectator and Dan altered the paternity results since he was the one who brought Blair the results earlier in the season. Just a thought!
there were so many Dan/Blair and Rufus/Lily parallel in this episode, they really are meant to be together
Blair and Dan get more and more awesome together ...my heart id filled with love for them
Dair was the best part of tonights episode
Dan and Blair were so flawless and amazing together, they define a perfect couple in every way...I love them
@emesq I do also think that chucks uncle could also be his real father but y did he do those things that he did to church.first why did he sleep with Blair and second why would his own father make him choose between the love of his life and his legacy??????
From some of the spoilers out there looks like we have to put up with Dair for a while yet but if they stay backburner (very backburner) and irrelevant to the over all plot (as in know one really caring about them) then I can handle it.
seriously going to another recap since this Dairshipper worship is nauseating...that Dan and Blair storyline is the weakest one and considering were talking about Season 5 GG, that's saying something.
I loved this episode. Dair is cute too.
That is pretty immature you know.
Nate is a King. He managed to bang his best friend's mother and walk out of it without facing any bad consequences.
And my Dair loving heart was pleased with this episode.
But then again: Nate is awesome.
Dair the best and each episode better!!! Real couple
I loved the chuck storyline..and a lil bit of serena...I have to say to me Blair isn't on this show anymore and i still don't want her with dan...but if the writers must showcase their madness by continuing dair, they should be back burner like tonight...But i know one fact i can't wait for the real blair to come back from crazy dairlussion island she is.
If serena embrace the dark side, will you blame her?..i know i won't considering how stupid everyone has gone on the ues
And yeah i feel jack could actually be chuck's father, because with this any crazy plot could spring up
PS: to the reviewer, you made it obvious tonight that you are a dairshipper
@Andrea LOL you so funny
YES! I've been thinking that, i bet he is.
I love ed acting in this eps and dair was beyond amazing, they keep getting better and better, I don't know how they do that?! overall I really enjoy it :)
Forgot... Dair acted like an old, boring couple, not like a young couple in love. Hell, Dorota gave Dan more love than Blair.
