TV Ratings Report: American Idol, Revenge Strong

 

A slow Wednesday night proved to be a ratings winner for Fox, as American Idol dropped six percent in the 18-49-year old demographic, but still easily led the network to an overall victory.

The first new Revenge episode in seven weeks also fared well, considering the hiatus...

American Idol: 16.5 million viewers
Survivor: 9.4 million
Betty White's Off Their Rockers: 6.2 million
The Middle rerun: 4.6 million/Suburgatory: 5.8 million
America's Next Top Model rerun: 1.1 million

9 p.m.
Modern Family: 10 million/Don't Trust The B---- In Apt. 23: 6.6 million
Criminal Minds: 7.5 million
Rock Center with Brian Williams: 2.9 million
America's Next Top Model: 1.4 million

10 p.m.
Revenge: 7.6 million
CSI rerun: 6.7 million
Law & Order: SVU: 5.7 million

    The ratings for "Don't Trust the B" are really disappointing. The humor is so different than a sitcom and the show is so funny ... but the drop off from "Modern Family" and that it can't even equal reruns of other shows probably means it will soon be gone. Oh well.
