I'm disappointed about the airplane crash....Every season finale I am really impress but I'm just not feeling it this year...Does anybody feel that way?
BTW I think the person dying isn't part of the crash...I think it's going to be April...All characters can still have great storylines...I don't think she can have a storyline appart from being a doctor and she doesn't have a job anymore ...

Did anyone else expect the LOST logo to show up at the end of that episode??? or was it just me?

You couldn't be further from the fact's if you tried. Derek will NOT die Patrick Dempsey has reupped his contract for 2 years. Have you not read anything. This has also been confirmed by Patrick on Twitter that he is back.
Lexie will be the kicking the bucket, Arizona seriously injured and Derek to be MIA until beginning next season.

My theory is this:
Derek dies because:
1.In real life, he seems to so want out, like really.
2.It would be the explanation as to how the other residents come back. Meridith Wanted to stay, and with Derek gone, she would have no reason to leave. CristinaWould want to stay to help Meridith out with Zola. AverySloan would be begging him to stay, since his best friend died and he wanted his bro to stay. KarevHe was on the flight, and he is a softy. I bet he as a "I need to keep to my home" moment. April Would be a "respecting his wishes thing" since he had brought her back a few seasons previous.
3.They might bring him back as sort of a ghost again, for Meridith.
Love Grey's! All this speculation proves the writers are masterful. We know we will lose a beloved character and we're pretty confident about who is safe but we still have so much to choose from. Genius. A case can be made for any number of characters which leaves us spinning and wanting more.
My first thought was Lexie because she has not had much of a role this season (similar to George) but unless the actor wants out of her contract...I don't see it happening due to the Slexie fan base. If it were Lexie, then Kepner could take her place. If it were Arizona then Alex would likely take her place on staff.
I think it will be a surprise and likely no one on the plane. I think it's a red herring. Someone mentioned Weber but I'm not sure what the impact on the rest would be. Would Mer feel responsible for his wife? Would they all stay to acknowledge his impact on their lives and the desire to carry on? If it's Teddy then Cristina will likely stay. If it's Derek then Me

Then ending was one of the least creative event of GA.
I'm getting to the point that I don't care who stays or goes. The whining and bickering is getting old. Maybe it is time that we say good bye.

Stupid! Beyond Stupid! I can't believe how bad this show has gotten, besides how bad the wrighting is, way past the time to pull the plug, SERIOUSLY!

I think its going to be Owen! I read an interview with shonda rhymes where she said, " The final episode is dark. And the way it’s going to work — here’s a thing I can tell you: There are some people who don’t even know the dark thing is going on for the entirety of the episode. So it’s like two worlds happening. There’s this dark world and there’s the regular world of our people happening. And I don’t mean worlds. I don’t want people to think we’re doing something weird. There are two locations. One where things are happening, and one location where everything is moving along as usual."
She is trying to distract us with the crash. Owen is going to kill himself being an army vet and depressed over yang. Derek will have to take over as chief and I just can't figure out why yang would stay then...

i want next week to come and go i want to see more greys anatomy. I know that all the original are back its already been comfermed I think it can either be lexi or arizona. I cant say which because if arizona die then alex will step in her place but i dont know how that affects other characters though only alex will have a reason. If lexi dies then mer will stay so will derek and christina will stay to be her 2nd person. Alex will stay out of guilt and that is good. Derek Wont die so stop saying that

My neighbor was in the Patrick Dempsey cancer wing in April. She and her boyfriend asked him if he was staying with Grey's Anatomy, and he said no, he was leaving to do movies because he could make more money. That was less than 3 weeks ago. I think that even thou they say he signed a contract, that he will be the major death on the program. The main characters were the only ones up to sign a new contract, everyone else is still under contract.
Of course he could have changed his mind. We'll just have to wait and see.

I think it is going to be Arizona. In this episode she made Torez promise to not leave her. I think that Torez will be dealing with hatred towards Korev. He will probably step up in Arizona's place. I think that Bailey will decide to follow Ben to UCLA

this season finale caught my attention unlike any other show, EVER. I've been watching Grey's for 8 years, and if there is one thing you can count on its the writers throwing some horrible irony into their show. how many of you REALLY think that they would announce that all original cast members resigned BEFORE the season finale, if there wasnt something tricky going on. I think they released that to make all of us THINK it HAS to be lexie or arizona. Arizona would make sense to me in the ironic aspect. The comment she made to Callie last night about never leaving her, and she dies! brilliant irony. However, with these particular writers they have a tendancy of leading you to believe something, making you think you are 100 percent right and then out of left field BAM! your hit by a bus. You never see it coming. I really dont think the writers would have worked this hard for this long to keep things hush hush, only to release all the info the WEEK before the finale!! So i dont

I think Derek dies in the plane crash. I've read that he doesn't want to come back next season. That would leave Mer in Seattle at the house & maybe Christine will move in with her :)

Altough if you look at next weeks sneak peak Teddy is getting a tempting offer. She may be leaving the show for a better offer, creating an urgent need for Cristina to stay. I don't know if Shonda said a main character will die or is just leaving the show.

I hope it is not Lexie, but it seems like that is the way it will be. What a perfect way to get Mer/Der to stay at Seattle. If the death is from the plane crash I think everyone else is safe. Possibly Arizona, but I think Shonda likes Ar/Cal story line too much.
The other way it could go is something could happen to Kepner. She was a mess and left the bar intoxicated. Owen would be torn up and feel like it was his fault, making Cristina maybe come to his side and not go to Mayo.
Lexie being hurt might keep Mer/Der to stick around too. Might be like the season with George and Izzy. One dies, one is in bad shape. Either way I hope it is Kepner or Arizona and not Lexie. I want her and Mark to get back together. I loved what she did last week having the guts to make that speech. It was so sweet and real.

isnt it weird.. Normally when those little planes crash, everyone dies, maybe 1-2 people survive
but on tv show just one person dies..
I really hope christina changes her mind... poor owne

It might be Kepner, too. She has nothing and I don't know if she can really handle everything, I'm afraid she'll kill herself.
I know the Originals live, ditto Jackson, Bailey, and Sloan
That leaves Teddy, Callie, Ben, and God forbid, Lexie! :( I will die if Slexie does not happen ever again

Ok here are a few possible scenarios running through my head... weber dies and maybe izzy returns for his funeral and it ends with Meredith visiting adelle in the same place she visited her own mom and she stays feeling like she needs to look after her and he could always still be in the show as a ghost. OR.... Arizona dies and it is extremely dramatic for callie because she loses both a husband and now a wife on the show and maybe Dr. Hahn reappears ...OR... the crash is a dream and Owen dies(without his relationship with Christina his character isn't as exciting) and burke reappears to take over as chief but that is probably unlikely because Isaiah left on a bad note . Let me know what you think!!! :)

Of all the characters on GA, I've leased liked Arizona...she should be the one to go. I can see McSteamy rescuing his love, Lexie; Yang & Owen getting to back to gether, down the road; Meredith not leaving because Seattle Grace is where she grew up, hence Derek would have to stay; Alex would take over the PEDS dept; and Kepner...perhaps staying on & retaking boards at the end of next season...Jackson may leave or not, depends on Kepner; Ben & Bailey...long distance relationship until either one finds a new love interest...??

I hope to goodness that Arizona dies, I have hated her from the first time I saw her. I don't really mind if Callie goes because she doesn't want to work at Greys without her, don't mind either way if Keppner, Lexie and Alex leave,they are all irrelevant to me, any other actors could take their places, other than Katherine Heigl, I won't be watching if she comes back, she's loathsome.
