Following the monumental event that concluded Dexter Season 6, new executive producer Scott Buck wants to assure viewers:

The series will not "shy away from that moment of Debra walking in and seeing Dexter stabbing into Travis' chest... it's just the opposite. She now has to deal with what she's seen and what she knows. And it forces him to defend and define himself."

Buck has provided TV Guide with the first look at the Dexter premiere, which will be titled "Are You..." and which won't waste any time featuring a sister vs. brother confrontation, as depicted here:

Dexter returns with new episodes on September 30. Among its confirmed Season 7 guest stars:

• Jason Gedrick as a strip club manager.
• Katia Winter as an exotic dancer.
• Ray Stevenson as a Russian mobster.
