Longmire Renewed For Season 2
A&E has renewed Longmire for a second season. The network made the unsurprising decision to bring back the series a mere four weeks into the Western drama's inaugural summer run.
The renewal was all but assured after the show's strong start. The Longmire premiere drew 4.1 million total viewers and became the channel’s most-watched scripted series debut ever.
The Wyoming based mystery/drama/procedural stars Robert Taylor as the titular character, Battlestar Galactica's Katee Sackhoff as his deputy and Cassidy Freeman as HIS daughter.
Longmire airs Sundays at 10/9c; the Season 1 finale airs August 5.

The first series debued june of 2012 and ended in august,so i would assume the 2013 series might resume in june?

One of the best quality shows in a long time. I give it a 9 on a scale of 10. Please break the suspense and let the shows fans know when, or aproximately when, season 2 will begin. Thank you
