i totally agree with you.. I had no idea that this was the finale because they didn't make it seem like one. As you mentioned above yes, it was lazy of the writers to end it this way. I really liked the show in season 1 and 2 and couldn't get enough of it. Now, i don't even think ill watch he next season. They totally went off the story line about cathy fighting cancer and how she is dealing with it. Now, they just make her seem like a very selfish unstable woman who doesn't know what she wants or how to be a mother.

I could not agree more. This season, they decided that there was no need for her character to have any consistency or connection to the people in her life, her job or anything else. There was a big plot pusher behind the scenes making everything happen. Sad decline.
